  • Suad Darra: I was waiting a long time for this mini game to come out. I was amazed by the idea behind it and wondered if it will actually be applied in the method described. It is indeed a successful attempt to amplify the voice of a lot of Syrians who went through a lot to reach a secure haven in Europe. I loved all the info, the story narrative, the pictures, the voice messages and the ending melody is just good how it fits both satisfied and unhappy endings. This mini game has a powerful notice and I encourage all to test it. I am Syrian myself and I couldn't have tell the story better. One technical note though I couldn't receive it to work on true time mode on my android device smartphone.

  • Marc Starvaggi: This is the most strong narrative I have encountered in a mini game. Use the real-time notifications, not the quick mode. I found myself worrying for Nour, agonizing over her choices. I have played it through more than once trying to see how her story unfolds with various decisions. I highly suggest this mini game. If you're considering it, you're the right kind of person for it.

  • Joe Chapman: Brilliantly written, strong piece of work. At first, it seems like your choices aren't making a difference, but after a while they stack up and you realise how differently things should have gone. The conversational format is vital; even though you never forget it's fiction, you search yourself cooking your dinner in between messages, wondering if Nour is going to be fine.

  • Anna Jenelius: Got emotionally invested right away, and the end I got created me just stare at the screen for a few mins. Necessary and harrowing story.

  • Chris Karounos: This mini game is a very special experience. If we compared video mini games to films it would be a romantic drama and very intense because of it. You have to hang in at the beginning for it to grab keep of you. If you wish to burn brain cells while playing a mindless addicting mini game this is not your mini game but it is well created in every aspect for what it is. My only suggestion to the creators would be to create it impart the fact that your choices of messages change the trajectory of what the hero does. Playing it I felt like I didn't have any influence on Nour. She is quite stubborn. But I know there must be a method to create the ending not be so jarring. If you like 80 days you will like this mini game. I think that was a large influence and they used the same interactive fiction scripting language.

  • Affan Imam: A good experience that really utilises the designs and features of a mobile smartphone in a fresh and interesting method. While I wouldn't class this as "fun" in the traditional sense of the word it is definitely a good experience that plays out over time and leaves you fulfilled for the price.

  • Pierrick Grandjer: Very touching mini game. It would be nice to be able to see the past stories that we have already done and to be able to see Nour's variables, even if only after the end of the mini game.

  • Nossorgs: I definitely suggest playing this with the settings on True Time - you can play the story segments whenever you have time, of course, but waiting for Nour to receive back in touch can be a harrowing experience. I've found myself checking my smartphone anxiously, waiting to see whether she gets through whatever hellish situation I got her into OK. A attractive and special gaming/reading experience!

  • Lindsay McClinchy: Super creative, immersive, and emotional. Without spoiling anything, I felt a weird unbelievable loss when it was over only because I knew I would not be getting any more messages. I HIGHLY suggest playing with 'true time mode' ON, you will not regret it! A+

  • Alykhan Virani: This is a good text-based journey mini game (they remind me of select your own journey ebooks from when I was young). Any possibility on getting a sequel? Like maybe Majd should test to meet up with Nour in Germany? I'd buy it in a heartbeat!

  • David Lee: There aren't a lot of mini games that can create me really emotionally involved--and potentially upset when things go awry--through a easy mechanism of just SMS-style texts and a few pictures. I got really involved in the story of Majd and Nour and really wanted Nour to receive to a secure put. I won't contain any spoilers but this mini game brought me near to tears--and also sighs of relief. It's emotionally compelling art in the form of a easy 'mini game'.

  • Gajalakshan Mohankumar: Such a intelligent and attractive mini game. It's more art than a typical mini game.

  • Jeff Kapica: This mini game is a unbelievable, well designed, unbelievable emotional adventure all done through text messages. It's a rare thing to search a mobile mini game that makes you really feel, and this mini game makes you feel a whole lot. It makes you care and become emotionally tied to your wife Nour, a Syrian woman trying to create it out of Syria to search a better life. She sends you messages in true time and you have response dialogue options you select from. It's a simplistic concept, but my first play through lasted me about 2 weeks. You can change it so that it's one continuous conversation instead but I suggest the true time approach as it adds a realism to the mini game that is very impactful. Highly suggest this mini game. Well worth the price. Hats off to the devs for really going for something and nailing it.

  • C.J. Alicandro: I'm waiting to hear back from Nour right now. I've been gripped from the begin. More mini games like this need to be created.

  • Benjamin Garel: Such a blast! A attractive story, that makes you involved in the fate of your fictionnal wife, worrying about her daily. That was a long time that a mini game almost created me cry.

  • thomas m: Good experience though calling it a mini game seems misplaced. Did not expect the outcome in my case.

  • Bernardo Gomes: Just finished the mini game for the first time, and thought it was beautiful awesome! For those who don't know what to create of this, don't think of it as mini game, bit more as an experience, an interactive story with just enough input to create it more private. It's a good concept and, for the most part, it worked good! Watching the story unfold throughout true days makes it more true (there's an option for faster story development though). The writing is good, and it really does feel like we're talking to a human person, with a whole range of emotions expressed just through messaging text and emojis. However, a few problems kept me from giving it 5 stars. Namely, and most annoying of all: lots of crashes. Sometimes the mini game would crash for just opening the map, or clicking on one town for info. Also, some pictures that Nour sent me were corrupted after a few days, which was weird. In an experience like this, where the story is the basic focus, even the smallest things do a lot in killing the immersion, which is unfortunate. However, when it worked... It worked! This is one of those mini games where the first time I play is particularly memorable, because every single option I created was genuine and, therefore, the first playthrough reflects my most "honest" attempt at the mini game, reflects MY story. And that experience was so "human" that I'm still not sure if I wish to leave it at that and remember the story like this, or test another playthroughs to see another outcomes. I think that, for now, I'll allow the mini game rest :) [In case the bugs I mentioned are relevant for future patches, I played this on a ONEPLUS 3]

  • Markus Morén: Good story that created me commit to the mini game from the very beginning. Didnt create it the first time though, so yes, the answers matters.

  • Josh Cwintal: Good passive mini game. Interesting and educational story. I didn't receive a satisfied ending, but I enjoyed it anyways.

  • Nick Mendez: I really wanted to like this mini game but the dialog just isn't very engaging. The heroes spend most of the time discussing travel info and how much things cost, and then show you with decisions without giving you much context. It brushes on large socio political concepts and then moves on to the cost of a taxi ride. Maybe that feels realistic to some but the heroes weren't engaging enough to receive me invested. It also suffers from that Mass Effect-style 'that isn't what I wanted to say!' trouble. There is one moment where tapping 'be attentive' results in "a lot of Africans are thieves" which was a jarring experience to say the least. Sadly, does not live up to the hype. I'd rather read nonfiction about the fight and resulting refugee crisis.

  • Oscar Riva: The mini game is really awesome, but for some reason notifications are not working for me :-(
User rated this game 3/5 on 2017-11-15

  • Vincent Allen: This is an interactive story that gives the user a possibility to nudge the story along with subtle changes. Not for everyone. But I do think the story is worth it.
User rated this game 3/5 on 2018-01-14

  • Chris Sills: Its a shame as its an original idea for a mini game, in a time where developers seem very risk adverse. But imo it fails badly in some places, firstly the whole idea is to CHOOSE various paths through an interactive story, although the format used is awesome ( push notifications in true time through a WhatsApp kind apk ) but trouble: the choices of answer to Nour that you are given are nothing like what I would reply....like any of the choices 😐 leaving you picking replied almost at random. What makes it even more frustrating is that Nour takes no message anyway. I've played to two completely various endings now...but it is hard to look back and see what decisions you created that got you there. So you end up reading the story and when decisions come up you just select any and hope it works out in the end. Such a pity as this should of been a brilliant mini game rather than just an fine one. And what an occasion missed to really tell the story of the horrendous predicament of refugees around the globe.

  • Olivier Hachez: The notifications are desynchronized with the mini game after switching the time mode setting.
User rated this game 3/5 on 2018-01-07

  • GOD PLEASE I wish to create a review for your mini game. This mini game has too a lot of bugs but It's a awesome mini game ! Can you have an email ? Or something like that ? Or I must to do my review here ? For example : sometimes, when I got a notification, the mini game say : "Nour is not here". So it's annoying and I must to go in the sittings for desactivate the "in true time" mode. (Sorry for English, I'm french...)
