This telling of this well-loved fairy tale involves young kids in helping the pigs to build their houses and, after some narrow escapes, finally conquer the large awful wolf, who comes to a very hot and tasty end. The maths mini games and puzzles involved in this tiny journey involve the kids in: • working with sorting clothing into the matching sizes, • counting and sharing silver coins fairly, • doing easy subtraction, • building houses in the correct sequence • finding where the wolf is hiding using position words • counting how a lot of puffs it takes to blow down the pigs houses.
