Else recording might begin delayed (apk looks as if it hangs for some seconds on the Samsung Galaxy S2) - Zooming and picture controls can only be modified BEFORE video recording - Changing from continuous autofocus to some another focus mode can be very slow - Sometimes the direct HD video preview in the video user (started from CameraPro) shows only a black screen. When the user is started manually the video play back is ok. - If updating from CameraX fails, uninstall CameraX before installing CameraPro. - Video recording on some HTC devices and on all devices with Android device 2.2 and older is only partly supported

Prabhath MP: Hello Harald & Squad, The trouble I had been experiencing with recording video got resolved recently (I am not sure if this was something to do with the updated app, however, I observed that it got resolved automatically after inserting the headphones plug to the 3.5 mm jack on my smartphone. Now, it records video with or without the headphones :) But still wished the camera had option to control focus manually like in Nokia Lumia 1020 series (focus dial in video record mode) and also wished I should record in a flat profile (any recommendations?) Mihaly Kenczler: A special stabilized camera using the accelerometer of the smartphone. I love it, I have been using since 6 (six!) years on the fourth smartphone. I PAID for it, CameraPro is the single apk I have bought. I would pay once more for a Camera API 2 ver w. manual focus, manual WB, ISO etc. Listen, Tequniq?!

Raj Rajan: I am using Sony Xperia SP with cynogenmod based Android device lollipop ROM. I am able to use another camera apks like Google camera and they are working ok, but CameraPro. It crashes before it starts.

Santosh Kumar: I have used this apk on Nokia mobile and I receive excilent pics but on z1 it worst all the photos are worst after tiny zoom in and no iso mode no picture quality I request the developer to create the apk best as we receive the photo on Nokia mobile like n8 or 808

Terry Jones: After using the same apk on a Windows smartphone for some time this Android device ver is quite disappointing. As I tend to spend quite a lot of time doing amateur time-lapse videos manual exposure and ISO controls are critical to what I'm trying to do, these are show and correct on the Windows ver but nowhere to be found on this ver... maybe it's just my smartphone that's at fault? If this situation somehow changes in the future then I may be back, otherwise it seems I'll have to look elsewhere for an appropriate apk for my purposes (or go back to the Windows smartphone). <edit> It seems that manual exposure isn't even possible on 4.4, maybe something for a Lollipop modernize? ;)

Ralph Capper: I bought this apk. Since I upgraded to Sony z5 compact it no longer works properly. When press shutter there's a long, long pause then it takes a blurry picture even in awesome light. The built in camera apk works instantly and with good results. I tried removing and reinstalling but no joy.
