CATA+ (CATA Plus) displays real-time info about the buses around the PSU campus and State College. CATA+ provides a more reliable and faster experience than both the official apks, CATA and myStop. This is not the official CATA apk and the developer of this apk is not similar to CATA (Centre Place Transportation Authority). Features (A lot of configurable through the settings menu): • Single map view with drawer for fast access • Real-time bus place info from CATA's site for all routes including the Mini game Day Buses • Present Stops along the route • Tap a stop to present the stop's name and upcoming departures • Place Info • Displays your GPS place and the closest stop to each route on the map • CATA static schedule info for each route cached on your device • Make and edit your own Route Groups. Combine your most traveled routes and present them all on a single map. • Reorder Routes and Route Groups to your own custom settings. Everyone has routes they ride the most and you can pick what's at the top of your list Route data such as the map, stops, and schedules are stored on your device and updated periodically. An internet connection is needed when you first begin the apk to download the initial set of data. This data is on your device to save bandwidth, decrease loading times, and better the overall player experience. Schedules can be accessed whether you have an internet connection or not. If you have problems or would like to allow the developer know something, please email [email protected] . Note for non-US individuals: If Google determines your acc is outside the US, EU member countries, and choose another countries, it will present an extremely high price to remove advertisements, please do not buy an in-app purchase at a very high rate. Only the US and countries in which Google takes care of VAT on behalf of the developer have lower prices to remove advertisements. The purpose of the high price for some countries is to discourage purchases while also allowing individuals from another countries to download and use the apk. Outside the automated refund window provided by Google, you will not be refunded if you create a purchase at one of those very high prices. Purchases are not wanted from Google accounts tied to those countries as the developer may be responsible for filing taxes in the purchaser's country.

Andrew Novillo: Accurate and informative. PSU Must Let's you know the exact place of the bus and where the stops are so you can time your route to classes accurately. It even gives you capacity of the bus so you know if it's too full to be worth test boarding. Even has grouping to present multiple buses to your apartment or parking lot. Click on a stop for all approaching buses. If you're a student, this helps a lot.

Three future recommendations: 1) Addition of an arrow indicating the direction of Red/Green Link 2) an adaptive apk icon that is compatible with multiple icon packs, and 3) distance to closest bus to route on sidewalks as opposed to 'as the crow flies.'

Christopher Sokolowski: CATA+ has never allow me down This application is good. It does what it needs to do and does it well. I like the ability to look up the route timetable by just passing the menu button. CATA+ is extremely stable unlike a lot of android device apks. It has never allow me down. The only minor hassle is that it can be difficult to precisely tap on a stop to search exact departure times since the stop markets are little and don't enlarge even when you zoom in the map. Overall the best choice for using transit in State College.
