Ask any single mate what they don’t like about their dating apk today and the complaints come pouring in. Some require too much time to complete a profile. Swipe-to-match, results in too a lot of lame chats that go nowhere, and almost all feature cookie-cutter player responses that are boring. In Challengr no one can directly talk to one other another. Instead, the only method to match with someone is to either Answer to their Challenge or have them answer to yours. So, what is a Challenge? Well these are questions you create to the community essentially giving them a blueprint for how to connect with you. If you are a gym rat you might make a Challenge of ‘Do 20 pull ups’. Have a long commute, maybe a Challenge of ‘What was the latest podcast you listened to’. Once you make a Challenge and the responses begin coming in you can either ‘dislike’ a response, at which point you wont see it once more, or ‘like’ it, which makes you both a ‘match’ and allows you to direct notice. The best part being, you already have a built in ice-breaker, the Challenge! Your inbox is now gratis of ‘hey how are you’, ‘you look hot’ or pick-up lines powered by puns on your name. If you aren't into dating, you can still search some mates on Challengr, just indicate you are looking for friendship when you sign up and you can search that 4th user for board mini game night or complete your kickball team! Once you sign up and make some Challenges, your Challenges are always out there working for you. So, you should just sit back and relax and as the platform grows in players you will just receive notified of fresh responses. I will say that there is an algorithm that decays completely inactive players, so I do recommend opening the apk at least once a week to assist hold your Challenges at the top of the list (and to see the fresh Challenges that have been made). We also just got some significant funding and are starting the marketing engine which could begin pouring players into the apk.
