Chess is one of the best gratis popular board mini games for Android device smartphones and tablets. From ancient times, it has been top ranked among the most famous mini games for mind training, developing leader thinking abilities, tactic and strategies skills, and improving overall IQ level! Classic chess mini game makes good useful time spending for both children and adults, family, mates, colleagues and classmates! Chess is a two user tactic board mini game played on a checkered board with 64 squares arranged in an 8×8 grid. The mini game is played by millions of people worldwide. Chess is believed to be derived from the Indian mini game chaturanga sometime before the 7 century. Chaturanga is also the likely ancestor of the Eastern tactic mini games xiangqi, janggi, and shogi. Chess reached Europe by the 9 century, due to the Umayyad conquest of Hispania. The pieces assumed their current powers in Spain in the late 15 century; the modern guidelines were standardized in the 19th century. Play involves no hidden info. Each user begins with 16 pieces: one lord, one queen, two rooks, two knights, two bishops and eight pawns. Each piece kind moves differently, with the most strong being the queen and the least strong the pawn. The objective is to checkmate the opponent's lord by placing it under an inescapable threat of capture. To this end, a player's pieces are used to attack and capture the opponent's pieces, while supporting each another. During the mini game, play typically involves exchanging pieces for the opponent's related pieces, and finding and engineering opportunities to trade advantageously or to receive a better position. In addition to checkmate, a user wins the mini game if the enemy resigns, or (in a timed mini game) runs out of time. There are also a few methods that a mini game can end in a draw. The first generally recognized Globe Chess Winner, Wilhelm Steinitz, claimed his title in 1886. Since 1948, the Globe Championship has been regulated by the Fédération Internationale des Échecs (FIDE), the game's international governing body. FIDE also awards life-time master titles to skilled users, the highest of which is Grandmaster (GM). A lot of national chess organizations have a title system of their own. FIDE also organizes the Women's Globe Championship, the Globe Junior Championship, the Globe Senior Championship, the Blitz and Rapid Globe Championships, and the Chess Olympiad, a famous tournament among international squads. FIDE is a member of the International Olympic Committee, which can be considered as a recognition of chess as a sport. A few national sporting bodies (e.g. the Spanish Consejo Superior de Deportes) also recognize chess as a sport. Chess was included in the 2006 and 2010 Asian Mini games. There is also a Correspondence Chess Globe Championship and a Globe Computer Chess Championship. Online chess has opened amateur and professional tournament to a wide and varied group of players. Since the second half of the 20th century, chess engines have been programmed to compute, analyze, predict, select and play with increasing success, to the point where the strongest tools play at a higher level than the best human users. Since the 1990s, computer analysis has contributed significantly to chess theory, particularly in the endgame. The strong IBM super computer Deep Blue was the first machine to calculate more moves and overcome a reigning Globe Chess Winner in a match when it defeated Garry Kasparov in 1997. The rise of powerful chess math tool engines runnable on hand-held devices has led to increasing concerns about cheating during tournaments. Advance in deep learning, large data, AI (artificial intelligence) technology play significant role in computer versus human. There are a lot of variants of chess that utilize various guidelines, pieces or boards. This unique mini game ver is completely gratis and adapted for Android device phone and tablet! Please leave your comments at Google Play and share mini game with your mates on Facebook! Have fun!
