  chuck sawyer: I want we had the ability to resize the chessboard. But in the future hopefully they will change that. I also want we had the ability to just play through the main line by having a method to turn off the variations to focus on the main line and then come back later and look at the another variations. it's simple to forget the mainline having a mess with the variations but over all a good apk with a good selection of ebooks..

  Michael Cady: I'm so glad this is accessible now. I've thought for a while that Chess ebook publishers were missing an occasion to exploit mobile platforms. The ebooks accessible through Everyman Chess are the most up to date. There are a few improvements I'd like to see, and that's the only reason for 4, instead of 5 stars. Resizable text, better navigation within the ebook, the ability to manually move the pieces on the board, and a chess engine for analysis, are features I'd like to see. Help is perfect, and they told me they were working on the two features I mentioned to them, so I bet it'll be 5 stars soon! Regardless, if you wish to read a chess ebook, do it this method!

  juan jose gomez cadenas: The reader does not work properly in my Sansung Galaxy Note. One cannot return from a chapter to the main menu. With such limitation, the reader is quite useless in the smartphone. UPDATE: Indeed, the reader works ok using the android device back arrow. Thanks a lot! Other recommendation would be to test to separate the chessboard from the text of the ebook, using two independent frames, for better reading. But the apk works ok.

  Harvey Reed: The more I use this apk I love it. I did message a BUG, for example Aagaard Excel at Chess, Bronstien v Yusopov 34 f4! is incorrectly rendered, bummer. Same with Acs v Ruck 16.f4...the problem is handling double pawns. Please fix because it takes away from an otherwise good apk. Recommendations would be to hold track of where you are, so when you are "flipping" between ebooks, you can track what mini game you are looking at. Maybe even the move you are on? Even better would be to hold track between devices ala Kindle where I can read on the smartphone when I am stationary, or on my smartphone standing in line at the airport... Oh, and BTW if there is anyway to receive Averbach's Chess Strategies for Advanced Users on your reader, that would be good!, Hold up the awesome work!

  Phil Hargreaves: If only you should save your progress, it should become the mini game changer it has the potential of being. Not aware that another publishers offer this and it provides a tie in to Everyman which they could maximise leverage on. May not work for every kind of ebook but I am enjoying it apart from the bookmark niggle. Come on guys, go from awesome to good!

  Abdallah Sadek: the apk is a awesome viewer. but it needs a lot of enhancement. I can't place a bookmark, I can't highlight or add my own notes on parts of the text. It does't remember where I stopped so everytime I have to re-open the ebook and the page and the paragraph I was in the latest time. It needs a lot of updates to be a good reader.

  Victor Bokulic: Good idea of reading and selling chess ebooks. The reader still need work. Ability to resize the text. Resize the chessboard, currently the board over powers the text. Ability to go to the next chapter from the current screen Let touch to move forward or reverse Bookmark current ebook if I go to other ebook Ebooks are over priced for electronic versions. Overall awesome begin, improve the apk and reprice your ebooks you can have a successful revenue stream

  Henry Clark: The ebook reading apk interface is cumbersome at best, it's glitchy, there is no "Assist Menu", & if you go to "Settings", the only option is to change the color of the board! It does however enable one to purchase Everyman Chess ebooks, but even their shop has GLITCHES! I bought Garry Kasparov on Garry Kasparov ebook one, but it won't allow me purchase ebook two! I receive the following error. Notice: "Item you are attempting to purchase not found". Even a year later on a various smartphone, I still receive that notice!

  Joe Gates: Virtually worthless. Bought a Everyman ebook on Amazon but cannot import it because it's not in the right folder. Incredibly, the apk can't find your device to search purchased Everyman eBooks. No method to copy/paste positions. No method to add engine help. Wow.
