  Tony: chess engine The chess engine does not work on my Galaxy Ace 2 smartphone. When I swipe for an engine I am returned to the opening menu. The same if I choose engine from drop-down menu. I have uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail. Any assist would be nice. I was thinking about purchasing the apk for my iPad but now I don't know if it would be a awesome choice. I have used Chessbase tools for years on my PC without any problems, so this is a true pity.***************************************************************************************** ****** After speaking with chessbase and receiving perfect after sales care I am satisfied to give the apk the five stars that it deserves. I look forward to the next modernize!!

  Deborah Pass: It was working ok until the latest modernize, now it can't search a valid licence, do I need to buy it once more? It's working ok on my smartphone, but not on my smartphone which is a Samsung GT-p5110. Modernize, good assist from the Chessbase squad to test and fix the trouble! Back to 5 stars.

  Richard Williams: This is a really good Apk!!! I use it for both analysing mini games on the fly and looking through graphically annotated mini games. Also I can quickly check common responses to moves. Being able to do all these things easily makes this a really useful program. Also for noting the Developer was really helpful when I had some technical issues - which turned out to be trouble with my smartphone and not this Apk.

  A Google User: Useful chess study program. This apk gives you access to a large online database of mini games. It lets you find through that database for users and/or positions. If you wish to explore the opening repertoire of a particular user, this apk will do all the work for you. Equally, if you just wish to access a particular mini game and play through it, it's fairly simple using this apk. The options are not as intuitive as they should be, but once you become familiar with them it is a fairly simple tool to use. It does crash/hang occasionally, which isn't ideal, and there's no built in analysis engine, which is a shame. Despite these shortcomings, it's quite awesome. If you wish to study the mini games of another users, using an Android device device, then this is the apk for you. If you wish to play chess versus your Android device device, receive 'Chess Genius' or 'Shredder'.

  Josias M: Good apk I will say that one of the best investments a chess user can create is to buy the mobile apk of chessbase. The opening ebook is good and switching between ebook, engine and notation works very smoothly. The only thing that's missing is a method to edit my cloud database.
