  Krishna yezzu: Cool OCR for Chess from pdf to FEN. Note in case you message apk is spinning, create sure to turn on the flash, it works perfectly. Sometimes if you message some necessary pieces are missing due to mis-allignment, just drag the missing pieces with your thumb from the side bar.

  Gregory K: UPDATE: after latest modernize (I think latest), offline, the local engines are gone and only the cloud option remains, which is pointless. I think it's just a coding bug, but renders apk useless without WiFi. Also, still want you should take image of the board with it. I'd pay to use that feature. The fresh scanner is MUCH better than the latest one and inclusion of Stockfish 9 is a good premium. Only want it scanned true boards, like Dayleng Yang's chess ID project.

  Tristan W: I have a ebook of 1001 chess issues and and they're awesome but the solutions to each trouble is in the back of the ebook they're in non-algebraic notation. Using this apk I can just scan the photo and I can check my work quickly. Very cool!

[Original review follows]: I was planning to give 5 stars because it works perfectly on my wife's smartphone. But then I installed it on my smartphone, and it hangs as soon as it is opened. No buttons work. Nothing I can do. I receive a pop up that apk isn't responding and I have to close it. Unfortunately I really like this apk but it just won't work for me. Tried rebooting smartphone, tool updates, nothing works.
