  John Smith: Decent wars with random attacking pawns. Receive them trapped and it's yours every time. For experienced users it is a bit on the simple side. And the forced pay-to-play if you run out of restarts does give a sour taste. (Could change that if users buy the full mini game) Overall decent for a one through.

  Ivan Milovanov: Good concept and neat execution. Author is highly responsive to recommendations and questions. Loading screens are a bit slow (at the moment of writing this review at least). Perfect bargain for the price. In-app purchases seem standard: you can buy coins that you don't actually need (I'm not sure yet what happens if all lives are lost, though). It's a nice method to provide further help. Perhaps one day in the future an modernize will bring random/endless modes and multiplayer - looking forward to those possibilities. If You like awesomely designed puzzles with neat graphics, look no further. It's involvingly fun, challenging, and all the awesome tactic from chess applies with loads of perks. I mean, why hasn't anyone thought of this good idea before?

  fireandice smallbutdangerous: The mini game is fun, interesting, and definitely keeps you watching your opponents pieces like a hawk to create sure they don't steal your pieces. The graphics are kept easy because they must, but they work well for what they are. I like the idea of buying powerups like is there, and i like that you often must come back to receive everything. I LOVE that you can begin over with the another color, and move second... But there's a downside to this. When the opponent pieces can hit yours on the first turn and you suddenly have one single piece to their six, its ridiculous. And when its one piece to their INFINITELY spawning pieces, such as one rather annoying level on the black side campaign, always spawning rooks, knights, and queens, it gets ridiculous to the point of having to place a pawn in the water to hold from losing, and it doesn't even begin you with a pawn. And it expected me to survive normally for thirty rounds? Anyways, my another complaint came after finishing the black campaign and going back to the white. The mini game glitches out, then when reopened, it place me on the final level, meaning I should only do freeplay, not the story levels with set positions and pieces so I should receive better, like i had hoped. Also, unlimited spawning levels later in the mini game devolved to finding a point where me and the computer created the same move and undid it next turn, making an unlimited loop of nothing being done to run out the timer. Also, once more on unlimited spawning levels, taking one of their pieces then immediately getting killed by a piece that spawned that same turn felt like cheating. If I can't place a piece out and move it that turn to capture an opponent, why can the computer do it?.aside from these... Four complaints? I seriously enjoyed the mini game.

  Steve Grant: Perfect concept, well executed. Difficulty ramps up beautiful quickly, but there is the option of grinding for stuff for the more challenging levels. Should do with screen rotation (the opposite landscape orientation) but otherwise an perfect mini game that will improve your chess skills as you play. There is however a beautiful awful bug on replaying levels where the pieces seem to be replaced with random pieces with white (the user) starting at the top of the board. After the first move the computer doesn't do anything. This only started event recently, and as such I can not play previous levels.
