Civil Fight: 1861 covers the opening wars of the American Civil Fight. The mini game covers both the little and really big actions of that momentous year, starting with the war at 'Large Bethel', on to the comparatively vast engagements at 'Bull Run' and 'Wilson's Creek'. In 1861 both sides have plenty of volunteer recruits who, though enthusiastic, lack battlefield experience. On the weaponry side much of the equipment still belongs to the Napoleonic Era with a plethora of muzzle loading, smoothbore artillery. Many of the commanders, who most would identify as the leaders the civil fight armies, are still junior officers in the engagements recreated in this mini game. Andy Scott: Good, plays well, a bit clunky at times, but not enough to spoil it. Be awesome to have the double speed play option like on the iPad for your opponent turn. Having said that, it's really awesome to see these mini games on android device, hope you guys will bring on more very soon.

Don Czirr: *** Edit *** Finished an entire war. Very solid. Had a tiny screen freezing but tasking out and then back in fixed it without having to interrupt the mini game. Overall - a very powerful showing for Hexwar. It is hoped that they continue to succeed and add more advanced mini games on mobile. Now that Slitherine has bowed out of mobile mini games - Hexwar is poised to take center scene and be the dominant Publisher in this field. Original comments: So far - am very satisfied. Installed well. Sound and graphics are awesome. Was able to multi-task. Needs a bit more review to hold those 5 stars - but initial signs present that it's running just as well as it did on IOS.

Simon Hudson: Good mini game really enjoying it so far. I have found it crashes quite frequently at least a couple of times per map. Just wonering if we're going to receive some more of these mini games on android device. Would love to play peninsular fight wars and Wellington win love that period

Casey Bruyn: Mini game would freeze when I created screen smaller. Another times it would freeze in middle of video test. Would have to end apk and reset. Would always continue after reset. Mini game itself is awesome except for frozen trouble.

Scott Wilson: After a couple of turns it begins to lag more and more to the point it is virtually frozen. It was unplayable. Unfortunate, because I just discovered Hex mini games, and I'm guessing they are like this.

D J Speer: It would be a 5 star but it crashes 4 or 5 times on a short scenario to right after a really big one loads it crashes. The only saving grace is the mini game saves as it crashes so you can go back to where you left off. It is fun another than that but because it crashes method too often I cannot suggest this mini game.
