  Jerry Tieng: I just started roasting recently with a home rotiserrie oven retrofitted with a cage. I time the RoR manually with Excel and temp probe then later moved to an Arduino based sensor. The plan was to build my own PID and control the thermostat directly. This apk is a awesome in between solution allowing sight smell sound to tutorial me while maintaining timing. We could build a web backend so players can share roasts via a feed within the apk.

  Everhopeful Always: Overall a very useful apk. I am using on a S8 but a larger screened device may be an advantage when actually using the time/temperature slide/ button. A useful addition would be a display of the rate of temperature rise, calculated on the latest temperature point set. ie 4C / min I would also search it useful go be able to have dedicated tool accessible on a PC to view the apks results without needing the knowledge to use secondary apks. This of course would not be needed if an Android device device with a larger screen was used from the outset screen was used! I look forward to developments! 28,1,18 The apk has been updated with a Rate Of Rise calculator that works on the fly''. Looks useful, I need to sort the settings to suit.

  Tamás Ferencz: Hi Alex, This is a very nice apk. I was wondering, how can I eb sure that I am seeing the actual temp versus the target temp when I look at my previous roast profiles? I tried to do some fake roast and there is no differenciation between the two sliders and the data in the view/edit roasts. Should you please add this in the next release? Or maybe it is there, but I am doing something wrong? Thanks. Tamas Edit: First slider is actual temp, second is target temp? Same in the roast results?   Eathan Nicley: Perfect! I just added a yocto thermocouple now it tracks the roast profile automatically every 2 seconds. Alex responded to an problem with the code and had the fix posted within a day. Good service, good apk.

  Scottie Brown: I've been very impressed with this apk. It has been a good assist in logging roasts, keeping track of measurements and helping me search the best heat, timing and way for each bean. I'm only a hobbyist and not a professional, but this has given me consistency and greater control over my results at a very little price.

Modernize: May 14th, 2018 (today's release): Developer responded in two days by adding help for a second temperature probes via a MQTT server and adding a filter for displayed measure points. This Developer's support/responsiveness simply can't receive better than that. Thanks so much, 5/5 stars for me.

  Gary Chomuk: Love this apk for tracking my roasts. Has all of the features one might wish for cataloging home roasts. Just a note though...I've installed this on a newer android device smartphone and when I test to Save/Export XML, it claims to have made the file in a particular directory, but that directory is empty. Might be something to do with me installing on a fresh smartphone and copying my previous roasts from the old smartphone. Modernize: top notch help from the developer. I found the exports.

  Jonas Temple: Really like the improvements in the fresh pro ver. This is a good apk for a beginning coffee roaster. Taking pictures of the green beans and finished roast is by far my favorite feature.

  Julian Klauz: This is a good apk, works very well. I am a novice at roasting coffee so this helps a lot with getting seeing what I did, so I know what to do once more, and what not to do. Developer is also fast to answer and takes recommendations. Definitely suggest the pro ver.
