Coimbatore Marathon mobile application is built exclusively to assist all its participants and another running enthusiasts hold track of the race happening. The Pre and Post race happening features assist players to seamlessly access all the needed info about the marathon like Countdown-to-Race, Race Map/Route, Weather, Race Results and a lot of such features. The Pre-Race happening feature contains Countdown-to-Race, Race Map/Route, and Weather Report. Countdown-to-Race serves as a reminder to players and displays the time left for marathon to begin in seconds, mins, hours and days. Race Map/Route provides a detailed finalized race routes for Half Marathon, 10K Run, and 5K Run. Weather Report helps participants, spectators and another running enthusiasts receive acquaint with venue’s weather and terrain. Players can view a detailed weather report of the venue for that particular day or for the next five consecutive days. The Post-Race happening features contain Race results. It assist players view race timing of top five runners on their mobile phones; alternatively players can also view effect or timing of a runner by providing the special bib number assigned to the runner.
