  Good apk! I own the portuguese and german editions of the printed tutorial and was so satisfied to see that's it's now accessible for android device phones. Super practical to have this details everywhere with me. One request: the list feature would be much more useful if there's the chance of sorting them alphabetically and by bird family. Please look into that. Thank you!

  Michael Talbot: Nice apk and good content . Ability to filter by country, habitat , bird colour etc. makes it much easier and more fun that using a traditional ebook. I am looking forward to more content being added like video . Only negative point on android device is if I zoom into picture I can't then move that zoomed in photo downwards to recentre , I guess that is a glitch that will receive ironed out soon ! EDIT: just updated and I can now move around zoomed in photos!

  Ric TheSeagull: Unbelievable apk, very mush like the ebook but with being able to zoom in closer, super sharp text and very simple to use. Obviously a lot of work has gone into this. There are a few things however, that would create this even better; perhaps a slider on the right side to speed up scrolling through the long list of some species and also to add filters in the settings such as being able to view birds seen in Britain etc. But this lays the benchmark now as one of the best bird tutorial apks. Hold up the awesome work!!!!

  Very nice and will likely replace my paper copies. Would be useful to be able to zoom the text narrative, and also if you should list the initial menu icons one across - I would then be able to use the apk entirely without my glasses!

  Rose Williams: Find function stopped working (+ another bugs) once I upgraded to Pixel 2 smartphone. Also bird lists function could be a lot better. Would be useful to record (tick) bird species of the year, but doesn't let for sorting, do not let duplicates, etc, so is largely useless. Please fix, as apk was very expensive!

  This apk is generally good: good pictures, good comparison option, very helpful filter (locatin, season!, plumage colour ...). I am only missing one function: Please contain the latin names in the name find! A lot of people know birds by latin rather than common name and it helps to communicate across languages.

  Brian Bailey: The content is perfect, but the navigation is cumbersome. I live in Canada, but travel to Europe often enough to wish a European bird apk. I own or have used numerous paid and gratis bird tutorial apks. This is definitely one of the better ones. The illustrations are first rate, and I like that it treats the whole plate as a single photo, rather than arbitrarily chopping it up into smaller photos (against the approach of Peterson's North American apk). My single large complaint is that the navigation is slow and cumbersome. There are a few factors that create it slow to use. The main page conveniently groups species by family, but as soon as you go into any one of them, the species are displayed as thumbnails, only 6 viewable on screen at any time. That makes for a lot of scrolling! There is a find function that will let you to narrow the selection to a specific geographic place and season. That's a good feature, and it works, but when you use it, the families disappear and you are left to scroll through all the giant thumbnails once more. It's a long method from Mute Swan to Yellowhammer! Swiping sideways to move from one species to the next would be a welcome enhancement.
