Color Blind Pal helps people who are color blind see the colors around them. It also lets people with normal vision see what it's like to be color blind. Want to know what color something is? Now you don't need to ask a mate - just begin the Color Inspector to receive a descriptive name, like "bold brown". Want to see all colors more clearly? Use the Color Filter to shift colors that are hard to distinguish toward colors that you can easily distinguish. It'll be as simple for you to spot an orange pumpkin in a green field as it is for everyone else. Or, do you have normal color vision and wish to know what someone who's color blind sees? The Color Filter can also simulate any kind of color blindness. Begin the preferences (with the ⓘ button) to choose your color blindness type. Press "Inspecting Color" or "Filtering Colors" to switch between the two modes. Simply begin the apk and point your device's camera at what you wish to see! If someone gives you a green form and a yellow form and asks you to fill out the green one, begin the Color Inspector to tell which is which. If you're struggling to read a color-coded map, use the Color Filter to create the colors simple to distinguish. With Color Blind Pal, you can do the following and much more: * Search out exactly what any color is * Read any color-coded map, chart, or graph * Pass a color vision try (it turns out there really are numbers in those dots!) Color Blind Pal is packed with strong features to create sure you never need anyone else's assist seeing colors. A Google User: Absolutely Unbelievable There are a lot of apks like this one, but this one really stands out to me. For one, it requires only camera permission (whereas some ask for too much). It also let's one filter out a certain color. This allowed me to actually see the numbers in the colorblind tests I looks up for the first time (through the apk, of course). I would highly suggest this apk. It is full of features, low on permissions, and very low on storage size.

A Google User: Oh my god, everything is so green!! I'm a moderate deutan so greens are weak for me (and obviously it throws off reds, oranges, etc). This apk is beautiful cool. Obviously due to limitations, this apk can only shift colors, so selecting a kind of color blindness won't fix ALL the colors (it seems selecting green weakness boots green at the expense of reds). But I can see reds so I wasn't super pressed about that. The amount of greens though... Wow. This apk immediately helps with my gardening. Thanks so much for making this!!

Job van der Zwan: This is the first color vision deficiency simulation apk that I've tried which has anomaly options! All others only had full deutan-, tritan- and protanopia options, which is too powerful an result: it shows brown and grey where I still would see green or red. The protanomally simulation in this apk comes very close to how I see things; "actual" and "simulated" view look almost identical to me, except for a few shades of red that look a bit darker than how I see things. For the first time I feel OK with using an apk like this to present my mates how I more or less see the globe. We've been having a lot of fun playing with it at a latest family gathering actually :) Thank you very much for creating this, if there is any method I can give some help allow me know!

Stop Pretending I am Not An Obtuse Triangle: Helpful This is a good apk, functions very similarly to the competitors but I search it is easier and quicker to identify colours properly. For instance, I used this because I have a lung infection and was coughing up blood. I wasn't sure if it was brown or red though. The another apks identified it as being both red and brown in various takes. However, this one identified it as red 90% of the time.

Karl Churchill: I think the negative ratings reflect the fact people haven't read the assist section. I have a particularly powerful deuteranopia and my only problem with the apk is that it doesn't seem to retain the settings for things like colour filter when you close and return. Would it be possible to use the light sensor to adjust the estimation of the colour? What appears brown on the screen is often something yellow in low light.

Hello There: This is unbelievable I am red/green colorblind, and I literally had tears of joy in my eyes when I looked through the screen. Brian Mitchell: I have been thinking of making something like this for a while, but on a whim I searched for "color-blind apk" and here it was! My face lit up when I inspected the shift function on the Ishihara plates I have; I should see the numbers clearly for the first time in my life!
