ColorMeter is a useful camera program that allows you to pick live colors around you. It shows RGB components of the color and display it on the screen. The hexadecimal (HTML) color code that used in graphic, picture or image editors is also displayed. You can make your custom color palette, preview, save and share it, detect colors on the picture and to search the best match (closest color) from the palette to the current one. You can pick and analyze colors using 3 various methods: - live camera view: point cross-hair on various objects and see the true time effect on the screen. - create a snapshot of objects and analyze colors on still photo. - load pictures from the gallery and pick colors on them. You can use currently chosen color as a wallpaper. Lee Busch: Without being able to measure all 4 printing inks, the CMY values it gives are inaccurate. I can't use it to search ink formulas without K as well. I'll go back to my iPhone which has an apk that does accurately measure CMY and K.

Paul Gibson: Cleared up when working in conjunction with a spectrophotometer the values really assist but I can't take pictures of my work where is the Root directory folder on my smartphone it will not take pics of my jpegs to my SD. Preview no save? HELP
