  Nick Bright: Best navigation apk accessible for motorcycling. Using the route options preferences I'm easily able to have calculated routes use my preferred types of streets - and you can easily drag the route to an alternate street if you'd prefer a specific highway. The gratis ver doesn't do real-time turn by turn navigation (press refresh a lot), but for $0.99 you can plug it for a month - good for a trip here or there. The full price for lifetime is worth it, though.

  Good value! Unbelievable! Used it in UK occasionally (when renting vehicle etc as mine has one built in). But regular use in South Africa, Spain, and a few times in Far East. Never allow me down! But as maps are on device you either need one with large memory, or use memory chip (which I do and works ok). Occasionally 'hangs' at begin up if no GPS and needs restarting.

There are so a lot of options to create it fit your driving style and preferences that it will feel like it was written just for you. Combine this with the Torque dashboard plugin and you have a "glass cockpit." One screen for all the driving info in one put.
