This anonymous mobile apk provides the citizens of Houston and surrounding places the ability to report info they might have or know about unsolved crime event in the Greater Houston Place. Crime Stoppers pays money rewards of up to $5,000 on all felony crimes that happen in the Greater Houston/Harris County place. The only requirement is you MUST report your advice directly to the Crime Stoppers Advice Line, either by smartphone, the site or this mobile apk. Things you could know: • Crime Stoppers will never ask you for your name, smartphone number, address, or any another info that should identify you. • We do not record smartphone calls or have caller id. We do not record any IP addresses. No one will know you called or reported through this mobile apk unless you tell them. • Once you download the mobile apk, you will be asked to setup a passcode and then you can give us your advice. This passcode is the only method Crime Stoppers can communicate with you or pay you. • You need to remember this passcode and provide it when you return to the mobile apk to check the status of your tip. • Crime Stoppers cannot call you with the status because we don’t ask for your smartphone number or any of your contact info. • When you return to the mobile apk with your passcode, we will allow you know if your advice helped law enforcement arrest or charge a felony suspect/fugitive. If it did, we will give you instructions to go to a specific bank on a certain date to pick up your money reward. You will not be asked to present any id and the cash you receive does not have to be reported to anyone.
