Good connection, stays on all day. Also, it's REALLY worth pointing out that the calorie counter is spot on. Every another elliptical I've seen over estimates your burn... This one doesn't. This is a good apk for a good product

The apk gives a fair count of steps and calories burned with a chart to track your progress over time. The only minor annoyance is that you have to manually choose the resistance to which the machine is set, rather than automatic detection.
