About the application:

CURAT - Mini games and Training for minimally invasive surgery. We develop mini games and training tool that teaches the principles of sonification and strengthening spatial (re)thinking. Sonification is the technical term for embedding info into artificially generated sounds. In our project we wish to discover how spatial info can be communicated to players via sonification. The goal is to map a spatial relation between two points. In the Sonification Mini game there are various mini game modes, which all contain sonification: Features: 5 mini mini games Campaign and Arcade Mode Classic and fresh mini game concepts low-poly graphics Stats and achievements The mini games: Piñata Party You are blindfolded and candy is your goal. Test to hear the piñata and smash it with your bat. Collect as much as possible in 10 rounds. Noisy Nuts A hat user tries his left hand at you, but you can victory. Follow the shell with the walnut or recognize it by the sound. Urban UFO Steer your UFO over the town and abduct the wanted person. But create sure you beam up the right person. Can he escape you? Dancing Darts Prove yourself at the dartboard and hit the right field. Receive as a lot of hits as you can before you run out of lives! Sounding Submarine You are alone in the dark deep sea trying to search your method back. Only sonification can save you. Do your best!
