A Google user: Really fun Metroidvania mini game with guns and upgrades. Graphics are awesome but old school for sure. Melody is really relaxing. Definitely worth the cash. Good mini game. On Xperia Play.

A Google user: Even at the short length this is a polished title that is very, very awesome. Perfect on the Xperia Play and I look forward to being able to purchase the next chapter of the.game. Don't forget Xperia Play help on all your fresh titles!

Steven Grey: This is like 2D Castlvaina meets Bioshock in a steam-punk setting. Hoping an modernize will come our method soon.

A Google user: Very well executed mini game for fanatics of Medroid or Castlevania.

A Google user: "I got 99 issues and awful controls ain't one, if you're playing on touch screen I feel awful for ya, son!" (Working good on Xperia PLAY!)

A Google user: Please give hd hero looks tiny pixilated. All else is good. Like a various Metroid/Castlevania hybrid. Find is cool feature.

Slashing With Gaming: I freaking love this mini game. Takes me back to my childhood when the SNES and Sega Megadrive were the staples of gaming. Thank you so much for an good mini game. Should I possibly have your permission to record this for my YouTube channel?

A Google user: Good mini game play. Well thought out.

A Google user: Very fun metroidvania style mini game, and old school art work, xperia controls not working for me though.

A Google user: Video test is smooth. Opponents are slightly repetitive. Art style looks like it was ripped straight from one of the GBA/ DS Castlevania mini games, right down to the amount of pixelation and some of the conventions used ( I like the variation on the save room), except with the obvious Victorian/Steampunk theme throughout (versus. CV's Gothic theme). That doesn't bother me in the slightest since I love those mini games, and I'm sure this was done in obvious homage to those stellar titles. I would have given this a 4.5 if that were possible... but the Mini game freezes on me occasionally, usually when triggering an OpenFeint acheivement. Also, I haven't finished the mini game yet, but I am concerned about what I hear regarding the length. However, $1-$1.50 per hour of playtime is not that awful when you consider the video test. A Google user: Awesome side scrolling mini game, but needs extra levels. Please modernize to finish the story line.

A Google user: Especially for fanatics of Metroid, Castlevania, etc. Some current bugs create the mini game frustrating, but another than that it's gold. Sgs captivate 2.3 & galaxy tab 10.1

A Google user: What started out promisingly with a well thought out action experience ended abruptly after a very casual 2hrs with a "to be continued"!?!
User rated this game 4/5 on 2011-12-20
A Google user: Very well done. Only thing keeping it from ***** is the fact that the controls are difficult on a touch screen. Otherwise, a very nice take on the Metroidvania genre.

Ken Moore: Reminiscent of CASTLEVANIA & METROID in their earlier renditions, DARK INCURSION is worth a download. Awesome melody, nice illustrations, and an simple to learn video test 'Fuse' system. The only flaw? Touchscreen controls, as usual. It can be customized but an modernize for gamepad help would go a long method.

Brett Crouch: I wanted a Castlevania: Symphony of the Night mini game. Good graphics, just want there were more animations, slicker & deeper video test. This mini game clearly was created for touch screen gaming first, gamepad second.

A Google user: good mini game , cant wait for part 2 ...
User rated this game 4/5 on 2012-06-06
A Google user: It's a good mini game but doesn't install to the so card so it takes up method too much room on an Xperia Play.
User rated this game 4/5 on 2011-12-25
A Google user: Good graphics and smooth controls. Xperia play controls are awesome but a dedicated button for unique attack would be nice (I'm on CM7 so I dunno if that's a factor). I don't like the fuses having limited uses but otherwise the mini game is aces. A definite must buy for fanatics of latest DS Castlevania mini games.

A Google user: It's a good mini game when the controls decide to work the method they're supposed to. Lovin' the Metroidvania style as it borrows a bit from each mini game. Weapon system is beautiful cool as well. Awesome items.

A Google user: I love this mini game, the esthetic and feel of it was good, but it was entirely too short for the price. The stereoscopic mode was perfect, and I happily sat there with 3d glasses on for about an hour or so, just because it created the mini game have a cool result that most wouldn't even bother to consider in a 2d mini game. The Xperia Play controls, although good in general (rarely had issues with them) did lack certain functionality (like the ability to quickly change your elemental fuse and do elemental attacks). In general I really enjoyed this and I'm fairly certain I would still be playing it now if it hadn't popped up a "To be continued"

Martin Martin: Love the mini game, steam punk etc but waaaaay too short, pity. Maybe second part will be longer. If not, i wont be spending any cash on it...

A Google user: Nice mini game, but awful controls.

Wesley Wallner: Just when the story starts picking up, it's suddenly over. Wouldn't say it's worth the price for how short it is.
User rated this game 3/5 on 2013-01-20
A Google user: But waaaay too short for $3. Where's the rest!?!?
User rated this game 3/5 on 2012-05-21
B G: Awesome old school kind, i want it was like the newer ones with the rpg elements though. Works awesome with the moga controller. Rather short, hopefully part 2 will come out

Marlon King: The controls need to be fixed and the mini game is too short
User rated this game 3/5 on 2014-09-28
A Google user: I like the melody and graphics a lot. The story line was interesting, The video test was cool but I feel that the controls were a bit off and the virtual analog stick ruined it for me. I would prefer a dpad instead. It also got a bit repetitive at times. A map would also assist a lot. Looking forward to the continuation!

Richard Brettnell: But WAY too short! Come BBB. Receive this story and mini game finished. Felt like I wasted $3 on this for only 45 Minutes of mini game play. Fun mini game but just too short...
User rated this game 3/5 on 2016-02-08
A Google user: The mini game finished before I actually had a possibility to really begin enjoying it. It literally ends after two levels. I though I had a demo ver and not a full mini game installed. Rip, off

A Google user: This is the mini game??? What happened, they run out of ideas. Would have loved it if the mini game had more boss wars. But, for what was, I did have fun the mini game.

A Google user: A awesome looking tiny mini game, that is reminiscent of Castlevania in a neo-victorian setting. However the opponents can be a tiny repetitive and provide video test that is seemingly un-challenging.

Reware Forster: But can't do an immersive mode on my xperia z1. Three 🌟 for now.
User rated this game 3/5 on 2014-10-05
A Google user: Good mini game. A bit on the simple side, but I guess the awful, usually unresponsive controls balances out the difficulty. Seriously needs to be fixed.
User rated this game 3/5 on 2012-05-22
Sebastian Roth: In general a nice mini game but not very playable using my Nyko Playpad Pro mini game controller. Always will jump while shooting. Please improve!
