  Jenni K: It simply works. Using it with ownCloud and NextCloud, syncs reliably and well. The recent ver detects ical subscriptions within NextCloud too, which is a definite plus. It hands them off instead of syncing them itself, but that's acceptable for me.

If removing and re-adding a calendar, it is worth clearing down the device calendar storage (i.e. 'Clear Data' on the Calendar Storage apk; assuming all your calendars are in the cloud, of course), to speed up the process of removing the old happenings.
