  Masfik Network: First of all: Daydream View is method more immersive than Google Cardboard. Period. The precision and stability of the daydream concept is above and beyond expectations: I'm fairly certain that everyone remembers that "shaky" result from the Cardboard headset (the device used to create very little but noticeable movements, even when you were completely still). Forget about all that, because the Daydream View eliminates all those horrible stability issues. And it doesn't end here: Google has even included​ a controller, and we have finally got a DECENT method to interact with our apks or mini games. It was definitely a necessity. Regarding the Daydream apk itself, it is also well produced as I've never encountered any issues with it — not even one crash came into my sight.

  Michael Stark: Daydream works well and most importantly delivers a attractive experience. Daydream provides high quality VR with a good and easy UI. My only trouble is my smartphone (Pixel) overheats with long term use.

  Kyle W: When I test to begin into any VR apk it tells me to put my smartphone into daydream, I do that then screen goes completely black and nothing happens. If I take it out and hit apk manager the window shows what it's supposed be showing however. Axon 7 very disappointedEDIT: Fixed this by changing reduce flicker in display settings but want it would work in the another mode

  rancid marshmallow: A nearly excellent VR system. The controller is a very awesome interface. The headset is well-designed and comfortable. My Moto z droid works ok, fits into the headset with case or battery package mod on. Only two complains are minor: longer periods of time (multiple hours) can be uncomfortable with really big prescription glasses, and after that long my smartphone gets beautiful hot. Don't expect hurt though, Moto z at least has awesome heat resistance.

  lorenzo anzivino: Works perfectly, haven't had any problems with daydream..I use a standard pixel and it blows away the fresh Oculus... What a waste to spend cash time and time once more with Samsung or Oculus... Looking forward to more VR in the future...... As of right now I mostly use it for the film theatre experience.. But I have found a few unbelievable mini games

I never wanted one and I thought it was dorky... However, Google got this spot on! Everything from the interface to the experiences! I'm now the envy of all my mates, including the Apple fanboys!

  Onur Baykal: To sum it up briefly, Daydream VR is good. I'm actually surprised that there is so much content on Daydream already given the relative newness of the platform...I predict like all another Google products, more developers will receive on board rather quickly, especially given how awesome Daydream is at this early scene. Upon using it the first time, I had to work a bit a to adjust the proper field of view, also note that if you wear glasses to see in true life you'll probably need glasses in Daydream to avoid blurriness, especially directly outside your field of view. Now the most necessary thing to note, is that the smartphone does receive hot...but in reality not to the degree which some are describing. It has nothing to do with the PIxel Hardware, but the intensive VR processes that android device is running on top of the phone's normal operations (I noticed Youtube does lag if you have multiple VR apks running in the background). In short the heat problem can surely be remedied via a tool modernize, as the remote pairing problems were fixed (I experienced no centering problems with the remote). Basically everything could work as intended, and I'm glad Google gave this to us Pixel owners for gratis!

  Patrick Huang: Awesome progress so far with VR Please note 60c is considered healthy temp for a chip. 80c is when it gets close to throttling and shutoff. This type of hot is normal in PCs and laptops. Battery life can go over 2hrs in VR and you really shouldn't be on VR that long without a break. I fear for our children's future as this tech takes off. Recommend ability to insert alerts to take breaks.

  Robert Hare: Literally transforms your smartphone into a whole fresh experience. Got the daydream for gratis with my pixel preorder, and I am blown away by its capabilities. I would say the daydream alone is enough reason to receive the pixel, Moto x (or is it z?), or whatever another daydream ready phones they are making. I'm never bored on my flights anymore. Would rate this more stars if I should, especially now that they are making it easier for the hundreds of Cardboard apks to convert to daydream.

  Joshua Shearer: Good! I have had zero problems on my ZTE Axon 7 with the tool. My children and I love it. A lot of of the mini games are gimmicky, but that's too but expected of a fresh technology. I want I should find in the vr play shop and not just view lists. I also want I should read reviews in the VR play shop, not just see stars.
