Deaf Pad helps Deaf and hard of hearing people communicate using speech. Think of it as a fast and simple note pad that takes advantage of Speech Recognition. Hearing individuals speak into the microphone. Their speech is transcribed to text and displayed in the note pad. Deaf individuals can use the soft-keypad, if required, to kind their response. There are Speech Recognition apks included with Android device, but Deaf Pad offers a few convenient features that create it especially useful: Download the gratis ver to sample Deaf Pad. Deaf Pad Pro enhanced features contain: ● The note pad text size can be adjusted. Also, the note pad text is saved and restored next time Deaf Pad is run. ● Simulated Continuous Speech Recognition allows Deaf Pad to follow conversations – you can put the smartphone on the table during a dinner conversation, or have the smartphone recognize speech during a presentation. ● A few devices can connect via a local Wi-Fi network to let real-time communication among players. For example, this would let multiple members of the audience to keep a real-time transcript of the speaker. ● The Speech Recognition language can be selected from a menu – it is not limited to the default language of the smartphone. ● Enabling Hold Alive prevents the smartphone from turning off unexpectedly. ● Deaf Pad supports display themes.
