About the application:

The Decodable Readers Australia ebooks help a systematic approach of learning to read. This approach ensures children are given the “right-fit” ebook. Decodable, or phonic readers, only include words created up of the sounds a kid has learnt. Within each level in the Decodable Readers Australia Series, a fresh group of sounds is introduced. As kids move through each level the sounds progress from easy to complex. The Decodable Readers Australia – Level 3 ebooks introduce the sounds b, h, f, l, j, v, w, x, y and z. All the words in each of the 20 ebooks in Level 3 are created up of these sounds and those introduced in Level 1 and 2 along with minimal sight words. After having mastered the Level 1 and 2 sounds and the reading skills of blending and tracking, kids could have gained the confidence to read Australian stories with fresh words and more text on each page. Each story in Level 3 can be enjoyed by listening to the professional audio or read aloud with the help of tapping and hearing the word if needed. The audio function can be controlled independently within each page. Both parents and teachers can continue to help kids with vocab and comprehension development through using the post-reading activities provided within each story. An addition to the Level 3 readers are the wide range of pre-reading activities that can be used to assist set the purpose for reading.
