About the application:

Désiré is a poetic point-and-click journey mini game in black and white. When the schoolteacher asks Désiré why he didn't draw the sun like the another pupils, he replies spontaneously: « It's always night in my head. » Désiré is colour-blind from birth and he will lead you into in globe of black and white. He marches on hesitantly, as life never brought him much joy. From a tender age, he is going to meet a few heroes who will elicit in Désiré intense emotions and alter his vision in surprising methods. Is colour at the end of the road? The mini game is, at its core, a critique of the modern globe and of the perverting nature of a consumer, profit-obsessed society. The mini game includes 4 chapters, 50+ scenes, 40+ heroes and a lot of riddles. « Ah... dear fellow traveller... I am so satisfied to meet you and to travel with you along this rocky path to allow a surprising story unfold. Do not be too fast to judge! At least not before you know how it ends. This story is both rough and delicate... as repulsive as it is endearing... melancholy and joyful... but most of all, it is a tale that is deeply human and profoundly singular. So allow me introduce this young, colour blind boy who, from birth, has only ever perceived the globe in black and white. Colours, to him, are as abstract as faith to the atheist. Yet, they plagued his dreams, night and day! This boy's name is Désiré and his life path will surely surprise you. But enough chit-chat! Go and search out for yourself... »

  • A Google user: WARNING:NOT A GAME FOR CHILDREN OR YOUNG TEENS. this mini game has extreme nudity as well as another mature content. dont receive me wrong, I absolutely enjoyed this mini game! lots of awesome messages, it just has a lot of sexual and possibly sensitive subjects:pedophilia, beastiality, suicide, BDSM, depression, discrimination, et cetera. it kinda warns you in the beginning, but a warning that there was a whole stage between a womans legs would have been nice. still, I enjoyed the mini game. awesome animation/grafics!

  • A Google user: This is a work of art. Although a couple recommendations, you could implement autosaves or at least periodically remind the user to save the mini game. Also there could be a button which highlights the objects one can interact with on the screen. I spent hours until I found the aunt sleeve to place the cards in at the first chapter which Ruins the atmosphere of the mini game. I just scan my finger over the whole screen now to see if there are hidden objects. Anyway very awesome project and even more noteworthy it is gratis. 9/10.

I love the concept of this mini game, the heroes (I fell head over heels for Desire), and everything about it. I finished this mini game months ago and I still unhappy that it's over.
