About the application:

Desktop Turret Defense does not follow the generic Turret Defense mini game style. Unlike a lot of another turret defense mini games, the path of the creeps themselves is not set; instead, the turrets built determine the path of the creeps, who take the shortest path they can search to the exit. This allows for you to select your own method of playing the mini game and it also allows for very interesting strategies. Not only can you affect the path that the creeps follow, but you will also need to manage your finances and decide on whether it is more viable to build more towers or make batter your existing ones. Strategic placement of various towers is key, since each tower has it's put and it's unique ability. The creeps come in waves at set intervals. Each wave of creeps has various characteristics, such as immunity to certain turrets, additional resistance to certain turrets, and the abilities to spawn fresh creeps, move faster than normal, or fly over the turrets instead of following the maze. For each wave, the mini game rotates among the types of creeps.
