  A Google user: This might seem minor until you begin regularly wanting to record notes and send them by email, but this is one of the few out there that allows you to set a default recipient email address, rather than having to retype it each time. Also, one of the few that allows you to go back through your recording and insert audio in the middle of an existing recording. I tried over a dozen and settled on this apk for my dictation needs. The only feature missing is the ability to change where the recordings are saved on the device.

  Arbaks: Unbelievable, easy to use, reliable apk. When musical masterpieces pop into my head it's always there ready to gobble then up. If there was just a very primary trimming facility that would be the icing on the cake. But really, too much icing is awful for you. ;-)

  A Google user: This is a good product. I have used another recording apks and this is the best that I have seen out there. It is good to be able to pause, overwrite, continue recording even though a call comes through. Even when I had an problem, help promptly replied even though the problem was ultimately associated with other apk.

  Andy Tate: Good edit features of insert or overwrite mode. Skip back & forth on playback. Mic gain adj with VU meter display. Sound activated rec option. All it needs is variable playback speed that some another apks have. Bought the pro copy as liked so much. Plus not a memory hog unlike others I tried.

  A Google user: Perfect Apk. I have had this apk for about 7 years. It turns my smartphone into a true dictaphone, to rewind, play back or record over. I can email or share recording for transcription by my office. Format works with Olympus dictaplayer. I like that I can change quality of recording to create it more clear or to save storage. I have not tried the apk transcription service.

  A Google user: I followed the path of testing the Lite, then buying the full ver. Worth every single penny! Oftentimes customer service is an afterthought - in my past experience - with apks. Clearly with this apk, it's a labor of love and the creator cares that players a) understand how to use it b) receive their questions answered and c) have valuable feedback, which does (and could) drive planning for future releases. As a tech industry veteran and power-user of systems and mobile devices, I should not be more satisfied with a product. Kudos to Dictadroid. It's simple, strong and fat-finger ready!   A Google user: If you have to dictate much then you will love this apk. the recoding/ insert functions work good and the audio is clear on my droid x. I just dictate then dropbox it from within the apk and my transcriptionist gets it and does her thing and dropboxes it back for review. only trouble is if you hit a button wrong you should jump to the beginning and record over yourself. only happened once, now I pay closer attn. Love this apk, don't tell anyone I would pay 20 bucks for this if I had to.

  A Google user: I was looking for digital dictation apk because our law office is finally converting to digital dictation. This apk is perfect...one of the few that allows you to insert in the middle of a recording. The apk also allows you to easily email the audio files to an assistant for transcription. Also, I had a minor problem for which I emailed the developer. He responded in an hour with a fix and a copy of the manual! I highly suggest this apk for attorneys and another specialists making the move to digital dictation.

  Christine Westhead: its simple to record. The quality is awesome and I particularly like the editing feature. If you mess up, you can easily stop recording, go back and re-record over your mistake. You can rename your files and add a picture icon if you like. Very awesome value for cash. Very satisfied!

  Steva Pak: I have just bought bonus ver (lite is limited to only 5 mins). I am delighted at first sight with the abilities and functioning of Dictadroid because it has exactly what I searched for: 1) it has sliding bar for quick rewinding of recorded; it has even the "page down" or up chance to traverse the sliding bar so I can listen the previous 2) dictaphone for speach recording 2) it has silence detection and elimination from recording (adjusted in settings) for in-office recording It has even insertion or overwriting in the middle of recording if wanted. Seems missing for my usage: school mode: to record not only from the moment record button is pressed but some time previously, to catch the whole sentence. But apart from that, perfect application!

  A Google user: Good modernize! I've waited a long time to see some fresh features. I had requested for the ability to delete unwanted sections like empty air place and we got a creative solution, voice activated recording. However, I'm still waiting for the ability to add track marks for skipping sections through long recordings. Only one tiny bug I've noticed. It seems voice detection is causing a slight studder every few seconds. I hope it's an simple fix. This is my favorite recorder.

  David Tan Creti: I love using the volume buttons like a traditional hand held dictation device. I and others would gladly pay for a higher level ver that allowed foot controlled transcription. I use bluetooth PageFlip for turning my melody and the same unit would be good to play, pause, back up a few seconds. The foot control does work partially with other audio user. The pedal can be set to one of five actions such as PgUp PgDn, Left Right arrow, Up Down arrow, Place Enter and Left or Right mouse clicks. Best Wishes David Marc Tan Creti
