  Phillip Cornegé: Better than anything else I've been very satisfied with it. I have no experience with the IOS ver, but this has worked faultlessly for me. Only problem is occasionally receive stuck with too higher sample rate, so the files are larger than I'd like, but it's not currently an problem.

  Chris Smyth: Perfect apk - law firm We have been using this apk on iOS for over 5 years and it works perfectly with our requirements (legal offices) Now that the android device ver is stable I can ditch carrying my ipod around as well as my s5. Works with dropbox with no problem on both iOS and android device. Another lawyers here use iOS via their ipad and I phones. Some of the awful reviews probably have not set the format to most appropriate one (it's a balance between little file size for transfer/upload to dropbox and very high quality )

  Josh M: Missing slash and insert functions I am a long time player and have used this apk on my ipad since it came out. I asked for an android device ver before it was a reality... Now that it has arrived I've been a tiny disappointed with the audio quality and the lack of the slash and insert functions. Granted, I am using a Samsung S4 and the audio quality may be similar to the smartphone. For the record, I'll give this 5 stars once I can slash and insert audio in the android device ver. This is still the best dictation apk on the shop!

  Hyong Kwon Kang: Fixed - Loses audio file on Galaxy Note 3. Audio file is now reliably saved and quality is awesome. Higher sample rate is also used for recording. There is a slight delay with stop button so that it's more difficult to edit recordings than on iOS. I want it didn't rescan sample rate on OS reboot - clarified, it was due to updates putout in close succession.

  MH B: It's ok to use as it is on your mobile and the staff understand my massive accent. It does sometimes receive stuck and does not upload the dictation immediately but I guess these are issues with all apks. Over all nice and would suggest it.

  Spencer Davczyk: Wait til they fix it I was a large fanatic of dictamus on ios. Found out it was accessible for android device and jumped the iphone ship. Unfortunately, the apk has been a disappointment. They simply took the player interface and stretched it to fit the larger screened android device phones making it look distorted and pixelated. Voice activation has been cutting off the first syllable. For some reason it doesn't seem as well constructed as thrips ver.

  Mary McGregor: I used to like it but... I have used this apk on ipad all the time and from time to time on android device and it was good but suddenly and for no apparent reason after transferring dictation to transcriber tool the sound quality is awful. Playback on ipad & android device seem ok but the transferred file is very badly affected by static kind noise. Thought it was my secretary's equipment but have dictated from another dictation products and there's no trouble. Also I send dictation to external service & they message the change too.

The manual hasn't been updated since ver 1 and couldn't receive the email or batch functionality to work despite a lost weekend of trying. Gave up and bought dictadroid instead

  Dan Kott: Not nearly functional I was similarly disappointed with the android device ver compared to the iOS. There is no stable usb transfer and there is no insertion function working. On Note 3 it only picks up 8000hz frequency. Horrible audio quality.

  George Selvin: Full of bugs only the email sharing is working, Do not buy this product I have checked the apk with Samsung Galaxy S4, the gratis ver with email was working good so I bought the paid ver to configure with SFTP server. It is not working most of the time mobile freezes and not working with any SSL. I have been trying to receive assist from the company but they they are not helpful. So, I will not suggest this product to anyone. George

  Jonathan: Please read this before buying!!! I installed the apk on a Samsung S4 mini smartphone. The apk was unusable due to distorted sound. I used it to dictate patient letters, but had to redo them all using a gratis apk (initially voice recorder, but now with simple voice recorder, both providing perfect sound quality). Only difference is that the gratis ones do not let rewind during dictation (which is workable). I contacted the company, but received no solution. I would like a refund of the 10 USD, but do not know how to request this.

  Shelley and Gray Strickland: Not as awesome as Dictamus for iOS The Android device ver is two years old, but it STILL has no bluetooth help (unlike the iOS ver which has had it for at least 5 years, but costs the same). Although the built in mic on my Galaxy S4 picks up beautiful well anytime my smartphone is within arm's reach, I prefer my Bluetooth mic. I like to dictate while driving on the highway, but I don't wish to have to keep my smartphone always.

  Bryan Gragg: Good iPhone apk ... crummy android device apk Feels like a very awful port of a good iPhone apk. I was highly disappointed with both its functionality and ease of use after switching from my iPhone 5 to my Galaxy Note 3. To be fair, I failed to message the privacy policy regarding Galaxy phones until after I wrote the review above. I can verify that if you have a Galaxy device, do not purchase this apk. I hope they search a solution to the trouble and modernize the apk.
