Dieppe Raid 1942 is a tactic boardgame set on the Western Front during the Second Globe Fight modelling the historical happenings at the company level. From Joni Nuutinen: By a wargamer for the wargamers since 2011 You are in command of the Allied force carrying out the 1942 raid on the port city of Dieppe. The aim is to capture as much of the nearby place as possible, keep it for a while, and evacuate before Germans gather their elite divisions in this coastal place for a counter-strike. Your score will reflect BOTH the cumulative VPs collected AND the number of troops evacuated successfully. The wider objective of this raid is multipronged: Assist the Soviet Union with a major raid on the Western Front to distract and tie down future German forces, boost the morale of the British public, give the restless Canadian 2nd division (which has been practicing for two years) some true combat experience, try how simple it will be to seize a German fortified port city (which are required to supply any major Allied invasions), and to capture different German secrets from the Radar station and local HQs, plus possibly receive hands on a four rotor enigma machine located in the German admiralty headquarters. The challenge of this scenario: Things receive awesome in territories and it's difficult, at best, to slash and run before the inevitable German counterattack overwhelms your forces. Fair warning: This is one of the more difficult campaigns in this mini game series. The scoring is completely various compared to the another mini games: The final score will be cumulative Win Points MULTIPLIED by the number of moveable combat unit successfully evacuated. FEATURES: + Thanks to months and months of research the campaign mirrors the historical setup as accurately as possible within the limits of creating a game-play that does not completely crush the player's will to live + Thanks to a long list of in-built variation of terrain, place of troops, weather, the never-twice-the-same AI logic, etc., each mini game provides a special fight gaming experience. + Plenty of options and settings to alter the visual look and how the player interface behaves. Conflict-Series by Joni Nuutinen has offered highly rated Android-only tactic board mini games since 2011, and even the first scenarios are still actively updated. The campaigns are based on the time-tested gaming mechanics TBS (turn-based tactic) enthusiasts are familiar with from both the classic PC fight mini games and legendary tabletop board mini games.
