About the application:

D²Link® is designed for commercial car drivers to be used in connection with a Trimble Transportation dispatch application*. D²Link connects your drivers to your Trimble dispatch system via smart devices for efficient load assignment and fleet management, transferring stop info and car place data between drivers and dispatchers. Within the Trimble dispatch tool, dispatchers can send detailed load info and keep truck GPS** place readings from their drivers at regular intervals, even create use of geo-fencing to automatically flag arrivals and departures. Standard features contain signature capture, photo capture, stop place mapping and the ability to exchange messages between driver and dispatcher. Options such as route navigation and extra capabilities are dependent on individual handset features, installed navigation apks and Trimble tool licensing, network carrier policies and services. Operation requires active, compatible Trimble tool and licensing. Please note that this ver of the D2Link application could only be downloaded by direction from your administrator as it is not compatible with all systems versions. * The supported Trimble dispatch apks are TMWSuite, TruckMate, and Trimble Maps. ** Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
