Your report of a stranded, harm, or entangled marine mammal will immediately go to trained and authorized emergency responders in the Southeast U.S. Marine Mammal Stranding Network. This apk enables you to report dead marine mammals, as well as live marine mammals in distress and in need of assistance. Your fast reporting may assist save an animal’s life by providing rescuers with true time info about the place and type of marine mammal and enables scientist to collect valuable info that will assist marine mammal conservation. This apk allows you to: > Report dead, injured or entangled marine mammals by connecting them to the nearest stranding response hotline, so that trained responders and veterinarians can treat and rescue the animal. > Send a image of the marine mammal along with GPS coordinates to the nearest marine mammal stranding network organization. > Identify the type of animal by providing an electronic field tutorial of marine mammals found in the Southeastern U.S. > Assist rescue live beached and dead marine mammals by providing you with a list of “do’s and don’ts” or advices on what to do when you search a live or dead stranded dolphin, whale, seal or manatee.
