  Jthan S: Other gem by WeWantToKnow! My son loved the original Dragonbox Numbers, and now he's going crazy over this fresh one. While the mechanics are very various, once once more it has superbly fun video test, but with long addition and subtraction so fully integrated that the kid needn't even realise they are learning maths. Working with large numbers becomes something natural and exciting, and done for a purpose rather than just as an abstract concept. They can then take this enthusiasm into the classroom.

  Robert Clowes: Other classic. Unbelievable and attractive piece of work. It is very hard to create tools that don´t just drill maths but teach concepts. Dragonbox succeed once more. My son loves it. Oh and it doesn´t just teach long addition and substraction but the proper method of writing numbers. Additional premium for my son who loves to write his numbers from the bottom. The tool excepts these but also shows him the right method to do it. We had a bug. When my son adding bees and the sum clearly showed 8 plus 2 in the first column it called out 8 plus 3! this is all the stranger as it still accepted 10 as the correct reply (I guess this trouble was fixed). ... This happened a few months but has never repeated. One little thing that upsets my son. He has traded for a second fisherman but he never wakes up and fishes, only sleeps. Frustrating for a six year old. I think my son learnt loads about numbers from this apk. Well done dragonbox.

  David Boudreau: Best maths apk ever. My 4 year old is so addictive to it. Hope the fresh multiplication/division apk comes out soon since he unlocked most of the worlds already. There is one trouble though. Some of the exchanges (the one where the guy exchange you diamond to unblock a fresh globe, and the one where they exchange ice cream/cup cake for coins) has really awful graphic. We cannot see how a lot of stuff to exchange for how a lot of coins. It would be good if you fix that

  Marni Hall: Addictive Math Can math and addictive really go together in the same sentence? Growing and picking apples to spend on another things, your children will be adding and subtracting the whole time. Even this mom (like a crazy person up method too late) is working her own place to see what happens as the mini game progresses. One advice - my daughter didn't realize she should write in the answers when it would allow her and thought she had to tap the reply box and listen to it three times. Maybe something when that first happens to present you can?

  Art MacNeil: Fun experience for my littles ones and I. Problems reported 30+ days ago have gone unfixed. 1st - on one device, the words "Fresh Text" appear ⅓ from the left border and ¾ down from the top. It is little black text and persists throughout various screens. 2nd - in the place with the fishing grey guys, the second fisherman is permanently asleep, but upright and unclickable. Not satisfied with help and now I'm hesitant to suggest the game/company.

  Jonathan Sedley: This isn't as awesome at teaching column addition as it might first appear. The globe and heroes are beautifully crafted, and if I were rating this for its entertainment value alone I'd give it 5 stars. But unfortunately my son did not properly understand how column addition and subtraction work even after mastering the mini game and sinking a lot of hours into it. For a while he really seemed to be learning, but in fact he was just powering through the sums by following an simple routine and the game's prompts, but never needing to understand exactly what it was he was doing or why he was doing it. Sure this does lay a decent foundation for learning column addition later and feeling comfortable with it, but it would be more time-efficient simply to teach it the old fashioned method. I highly suggest all the another Dragonbox mini games, but I think this one needs a tiny ok tuning before it can be as educational as the rest.

  An Droid: Crap! Uninstalled. My children love these apks and would love this one too but sadly it just doesn't work. Crashes at the clouds on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 and on the IT Works smartphone. Got a bit further than that on the Samsung S3, until I logged in (which did not retrieve any usernames used on older aps so what is the use of that anyway), then it also crashes on the clouds. Only works on my own Bluboo Maya, but slows down very much after logging in, and that device is not meant for the children to play on all day. Am hoping for a fresh ver that fixes the crashing!
