  Louis Dhority: I've had ver 1 of the device and upgraded recently to ver 2. I understand everyone's complaints about not connecting. But I don't think most people realize that when they stick it to the back of their TV, they're basically putting behind a metal wall. If don't have a very powerful signal that reaches behind the TV, you're going to have connection problems. It's good and I've had no issues with it. I want they would add some smart home integration, but that is my only complaint.

  nick Mletzko: The apk is straightforward and simple to use. Receive an occasional lag on opening but I just bring up the slay screen and it's ok. Looking forward to seeing more options for the scenes. This isn't that famous yet but it is without a doubt totally good! I am so impressed with the whole thing. I can't picture watching films or gaming without it now. If you love led and ambient lighting like me dreamscreen is totally worth every penny

  Tim Carr: Overall a good device. I went with the flex LEDs and install was simple, although it was scary bending the strip. I didn't fold it like a piece of paper like the instructions depict since I was concerned the connections would break. The only issues I have are the scan depth(how close to the center of the photo the dreamscreen gets colors from) is a bit too deep (It's mostly noticable with blues which often have too much green resulting in teal when it could be blue, even with colors corrected. Would be nice to be able to control the scan depth if it doesn't impact performance) and I have to manually turn on the LEDs when I turn on my Nvidia shield, even though the TV comes on. Not sure if this is an problem with the shield, but it does send on and off CEC commands because it controls my TV's power state without problem.

  Michael Dunn: Got the complete diy kit with sidekicks and think its good my television looks good. have had no problems with my Xbox one x or sky uhd. using all high end cables and not passing through an amp due to 10bit colour also using sky wireless connection 2.4 and 5gz. Just hope it stays that method

  eric abalos: I have read all of the reviews and still created the purchase. I have not had any problems with my dreamscreen. This system has changed the method my wife and I experience films and mini games. I am very satisfied that I ignored all of the squeaky wheels and created this purchase. I want more satisfied customers would leave reviews and not just the people that have awful experiences because this system is good. I do hope that all of the customers with. advertisement experiences with the system receive the assist they need.

  Austin Clark: Not sure why Place permission is required. Took a while to receive connected. seems to only help 2.4ghz networks. Modernize: Glad to see the dev answer on the place permission. I haven't used the apk much since I got it set up. I want the apk integrated with Harmony Remote or Smartthings to switch the modes based on if I'm watching TV or listening to melody. The product hardware is good. I have the 4K Kit and the LED sticky backing is not adhering to my fresh Samsung TV. I picked up some 3M VHB tape and the tape sticks to the TV but not very well to the LED strip. The devices also does not like 24Hz video and it creates a flicker on the first 3-4 leds. Hope to see more tool enhancements and features.

  Jeff Lott: I really love the dreamscreen. I'm having an problem though with sound. I have a sound bar hooked up and it works ok on HDMI 1 (dish network), HDMI 2 (PS4), but I receive no sound from HDMI 3 (Fire TV). I can use the actual TV speakers for that, but they don't sound nearly as awesome.

  A Google user: Having problem switching sources,when switching from one source to other most of the time after switching there is no picture, just blank black screen. Sometimes there is audio sometimes there isn't. For ex. When switching from my Xbox to my pc, the only method I can receive the picture on my pc is to to use TeamViewer and login to the pc which then triggers something and picture comes on. Please fix

  Jordan Buck: Apk works selectively. Have to manually exit out of it every now and then to receive it to recognize the device. As of the writing of this review it isnt recognizing it at all. Love the device, want the apk was more consistent.

  Dan Sarino: Apk is fine. Some quirks you have to figure out after paying with it a while (like the dream screen has to be set to off in order to rename inputs). Also how do you change networks? couldn't search any settings where this should be done. Sometimes I have to cycle power in order to receive the hub to pass video. Please fix.

  james hopkins: Apk is awesome but I am having the problem of switching sources my nvidia shield will load up but when I switch to TV source then switch back to nvidia shield all I have is a green screen and cannot work out how to fix this problem the unit itself is good but not having much luck getting it to work with my shield at all. Tried setting various resolutions and still the same trouble of switching sources I receive a complete green screen or a black screen with a purple tint and can still hear the audio in the background any assist please

  Rishi Mewara: Need improvement you need to tweak the coding such that it displays YELLOW AND RED colour. As when there is any yellow or red background most of the time it shows GREEN OR BLUE. Secondly , the apk needs more presets for ambilight. An options to create your own preset with calibrating each led to a colour would be an good addition. Thanks for listening and creating the home screen widget.

  x ID 3 A TH o 0: Well in short the apk works well. The trouble is the device itself. When using my 4k dream screen, via my xbox one x, it will slash out when using netflix or hulu. Randomly going in and out flashing purple then coming back. It works excellent on mini games ive tried and on youtube, so im unsure what the problem is. If there is not an simple fix im scared i will be returning my dream screen i waited to long for problems like that. P.s. ive contacted via email already.
