Drivermatics is a strong phone driving application that provides Dash Cam and BlackBox Telematics recording capabilities for your vehicle and car journeys. Drivermatics records each adventure and provides you with info on your adventure including travel time, distance travelled, average & top speeds, plus a driving score. Drivermatics uses the GPS, accelerometer and gyroscope sensors in your phone to record detailed telematics adventure data about how you drive your vehicle or car. Drivermatics provides you with a driving a score for a bit of fun, so that you can see how secure your driving is. We use telematics calculations to make your score based on the acceleration, braking and cornering of your car. This can be a good method to see if you are suited to a telematics based insurance policy. The Drivermatics Dashboard Camera (DashCam) feature allows you to record forward facing video, which can assist prove who was at fault if you are involved in an incident or accident, or if you message something interesting whilst driving that you wish to share via Fb, YouTube or another social media channels. Our strong accident management workflow engine helps tutorial you through what to do if you are involved in an accident and allows you to capture valuable info whilst at the stage, including video, photographic, audio and text based evidence. Matt Stephens: reliable good apk for recording journeys, I've had good experiences with it. the apk does insist on maximising the brightness of my screen though - which is frustrating. I'd like the option for the apk to have no result on screen brightness and leave it to me to adjust that myself, screen dimming after x time doesn't seem to do anything. Also being able to set viewing of media to video only on a permanent basis unless map is asked for would also be good, the apk has to do a lot of reloading when they are both on.

MangaAddict: Just what I've been looking for! I downloaded this good apk before I had a vehicle mount. I used it to track my driving habits, eventually completely forgetting about the dashcam ability. Now, after exhausting all another dashcam options, I decided to check up on what this apk had been doing in the background. I was amazed by how much data had been collected in the background, then I saw the dashcam option and now I couldn't be happier! Kudos to the developers for making the best dashcam apk on the playstore. Deserves a better score!

Rob Taylor: This apk runs well on my s8 + no problems I like that you can configurate it a lot. And i've found it reliable. I would like if it detected speed camera zones but that's minor but I feel it would really improve the apk.

Couldn't ask more from a shop bought dash cam! When I downloaded this, there was a server error stopping me from logging in. The squad were fast to answer and fixed the error. Since I have been using this apk, I can't say I can search anything I dislike about it. I plan to use this not only to prove fault in a collision, but to prove I am overall a secure driver to my insurance company, and reduce my premiums. Thanks Drivermatics!

Martin Frow: As a dashcam this is a good apk. I have two minor gripes 1. The speed registered on the Apk sometimes reads really, really slow, I'm not sure if this is the apk or the GPS on my smartphone being a bit slow to register/lock. The speed reads slow for a few miles and then all of a sudden reads the right speed. 2. There is a beep that occurs when the video file is closed and re-started. I have mine set to record in 2 min intervals so I receive the beep every 2 mins, I cannot turn it off so cannot use my smartphone as my audio user in the vehicle because the beeping is just too annoying :( I've place a notice on the help forum but no-one has yet replied. 4 stars, it is really a 3.5, if I can receive the beep turned off then it'll be a 4.5, if the speed is right all the time then it'll go to a 5. This is the only dashcam apk I have and I do like it and have not tried any others.

Will S: The best dashcam apk by miles! Having tried just about every dashcam apk on the shop, this is about the best there is! It's intuitive, simple on the eyes and works very well! The browser interface is perfect, too. The only niggle that led to me docking a star is an apparent bug when choosing the maximum file place on external storage SD card. The options present a choice of sizes, but the biggest it'll let me to choose is 4Gb, despite having much more place than that accessible on my card.

Good quality - exactly what I was hoping for Good quality videos and display info. One recommendation - maybe an "ICE" button should be added to the display screen to help emergency services in locating the driver's "in case of emergency" or next of kin contact

Graeme O'Hanlon: Nearly brilliant but Very awesome except a couple of bugbears, first is that a really big part of the screen is obscured by the options and secondly is that when I play back video it says that I was doing about minus 20mph even though it was around 60mph. Sort those problems out and it will be excellent. Lots of options and quite player friendly.
