Matt Schnars: Good Program , highly suggested Used this apk in conjunction with harvestyourdata for the purposes of conducting a citywide homeless point in time count. Our process involved creating the survey and training over 100 volunteers how to download and use the apk as well as how to administer the survey (which is fairly complex). I was very satisfied with the apk and it was surprisingly affordable and very effective for our count.

Rabiu Asante: Reduces the burden for doing instrument construction and data collection Droidsurvey is the best droid field research companion. As a PhD student, i have witnessed this apk reduce the burden of developing instruments, coordinate data collection from various field assistants, track the performance of field assistants even before the end of the data collection and still provide me with the option to save my results in SPSS format. You can actually run a fast analyses of your results whiles still in the field to see emerging trends. The best part for me is the ability to use the apk in the offline mode. On top of all this you actually receive discounted rates if you are a student. THANKS DEVELOPERS , THIS IS A LIFE SAVING APP!!!

Sunlight Waterproject: This apk is a tremendous asset for an NGO, and I would give six stars if I should. I've used it two times. In the first, I was Country Director for a really big NGO in Haiti. We had a robust research department, and had to do a survey that would involve 250 field research agents. The research director came to me and asked that I use my credit card to buy a droid Survey license. I asked about the product. He said that normally it would take them weeks to design a paper-based survey, then testing was slow and needed modifications which also took a lot of time. Then you had to have a second squad of field people out to do quality control in the actual survey agents. Finally, you end up with mountains of forms that have to be keypunched into a database, involving time, cash and errors. He said with droidSurvey form design and testing was much easier; you can do some necessary quality controls just by studying the everyday downloands (like time spent on each survey, time in between surveys, etc.), and the data comes to you in a attractive large file. I just used it for the second time, ON MY OWN (now on a little project. Super intuitive and simple to use.

Martin Finnegan: Saves time and expense, improves accuracy Using this now for the third time. Now we are really used to the logic and so writing and linking and sequencing the questions has become simple. Testing, moving surveys to the smartphone and results from it, and downloading results in CSV and SPSS all work seamlessly. When I think about the person-hours that would be needed to do all this manually, I search this apk to be a really awesome value. Did I mention that tech service is good (didn't need it this time, but on prior uses). Highly suggested.

We haven't used it yet at the present - it's this weekend - but all the testing worked good and it is very simple to use.
