  chase cochran: One handy tiny text/code editor! I suggest this apk because it is possibly the best code editor on android device and with the ability to chose what the file format is, it also makes taking notes and writing text documents a snap. Ever since I bought it, I have never regretted it or ceased to use it to begin coding in Lua. It has only crashed 2 times over the span of 3 months on my brick of a "smart"phone which crashes on most another apks that you would think would use less processing power. In short useful, reliable, and cash well spent.

  Nicholas Moran: Best Android device Editor Hands down this apk is a most have for programmers. I love it because it allows me to view code that was emailed to me hassle gratis. And the built in sftp lets me connect to my PI and edit whatever file on it that I wish. 5/5.

  Anna Willoughby: Good I'm doing an increasing amount of responsive development directly from my smartphone, making fast edits on the go as I message bugs or have an idea. This editor is lightweight and exactly what I need. I greatly appreciate the custom themes and hope that gets expanded in the future - would love to be able to target more specifically, for example highlighting scripts and media queries. Really good apk, satisfied to pay for such a quality product.

Note that if you're editing LaTeX documents that are on dropbox and using texportal like a lot of end up doing, you'll need to create all the relevant files into dropbox favorites for it all to work properly. This works very well with texportal (tex compiler) and ebookdroid (pdf viewer) on my galaxy note 10.1.

If you're a student, and you like to work on programming assignments on your Android device smartphone, this is quite literally the best apk on the marketplace - bar none. For those of you who don't know what SFTP is, it's Safe File Transfer Protocol - or FTP over SSH. It means you can edit files on a linux server as though they were local with full help for syntax highlighting. This apk, in conjunction with JuiceSSH, let me to do absolutely everything I need when it comes to C development, all from my Android device smartphone. I can't say enough awesome things about this apk. 11/10 with rice.

  I am person who and okay: It's unbelievable :3 I just want I should zoom in/out with my fingers, instead of within the settings. I also want that syntax highlighting for really big files should highlight bits by bits of text to reduce lagging, instead of all at once after scrolling.
