James Barker: Intuitive UI with accurate/immediate rendering. Good features (such as automatically choosing charts for an entered flight plan), automatically warning of expired charts, weather data, vector maps, & adjustable text scaling. For someone who flies across multiple states, this is so much easier than shuffling with paper charts (and costs less than a stack of paper charts too).

Dane C: By far the best EFB accessible for Android device. All the standard (and FAA needed) EFB functionality is there, but the design is so well thought out and the UI is so smooth that it puts this EFB above the rest. There are some assassin features in here that even Foreflight doesn't have. Two things it needs that will place the nails in the coffins of the another EFBs: 1. Ability to import KML or another shape files (this would create it the assassin military EFB) 2. Synthetic vision

Droid EFB is the best Android device EFB, period - I've tried a few. It's reliable and quick. Light on RAM and CPU, so it's fast & responsive to use and battery lasts longer in-flight than any another apk. It has complete weather details including winds & PIREPs. It seamlessly supports external GPS and ADS-B (like Stratux) on GDL-90 or Bluetooth, present ADS-B traffic and weather. It has complete airport details including the full AFD. The UI is well designed, routing and another features are intuitive and fast to use. The only drawback to this apk is lack of WAC and Canadian charts.

Ronald Birkelbach: I'm not a pilot, but I fly for business and leisure at least once a week. A United pilot seatmate turned me on to this apk three years ago, and now I always use it. I receive the route from FlightAware, check the weather and pilot reports, and have fun the apk in flight. A lot of people are intrigued by it - I would recommend also marketing this product to frequent fliers.

Matthew Oakes: Good addition to the flight bag! The ability to have a moving map with a plethora of info at your fingertips is priceless. I love having approach plates on there as well. I would love to see the ability to view documents, ie PDF files, and a terrain avoidance mail overlay. The developers have the pilot in mind and are active with the development!
