  Robert VA3ROM: Good tech help & SSTV tool! Being fresh to Android device devices, I couldn't figure out some things with an old Chinese clone (v2.3.6) and fresh Acer (v4.2.2) phone (bonuses never used until now). Wolf explained the different "menu" buttons for Android device phones which was a hard to search hardware button labelled "Menu" on the old phone but the Acer's "menu" button is a nonsensical icon accessed with a fast double tap (another smartphones use a long press) of the multitask touch button and isn't covered in the Acer's manual at all! With Wolf's assist I was able to receive into all of the tool and he explained some another tool features. A large plus is the ability to snap a picture, choose an place of it (or all), adjust the colour/tonal properties, scale it down to a 320 x 256 SSTV photo with decent detail, then add a text overly all on the fly! Especially useful for EMCOMM when no Internet/Wi-Fi is accessible to receive photos to back to the EOC. The old Kenwood VC-H1 is replaced by the fresh DroidSSTV + Android device smartphones! The tech help is what gives it a solid 5+ rating; Wolf patiently answered my all my questions which he probably has done umpteen times before for a lot of others! FB OM ES 73 DIT DIT

  Jeff Laing: Works ok - but difficult to access menu on S7. Setting accessibility menu on smartphone. Can also use long click on back soft button. A few people having related issues - if you can receive to the picture slider the "picture" place-holders with green frame are the templates. Very useful as monitor apk.

  Charlie C: Problem decoding robot 36 Has difficulty decoding robot 36. Would think about refunding but unable to now. For the cash could be able to decode robot 36. Does some strange things with the screen orientation. Also will not transmit in robot 36. *modernize - Screen orientation does work although you have to exit apk and begin once more for change to apply. Will invest with hope robot-36 help will be added.

  Gene B: Works as advertised. My only regret with this is that my Android device device does not have a microphone input. Just about blows your ear drums out when you have to turn up the radio full blast to receive a awesome copy. Transmitting using an impedance match so I run the cable from the headphone out of the smartphone and into the mic in on the radio. Much better of a sender than a receiver for me.

  Terry Jones: Works on Galaxy S2 but not S5 Works good on my Galaxy S2 that I hold around for a backup, both send and keep. BUT on my Galaxy S5, it receives good, however, the S5 does not have a dedicated menu button, so there is no method to access the menus to set your call sign or options for sending images. Would definitely give it a 5 star if it would work on my go to smartphone. Maybe this will be accessible in the next modernize? Sure hope so as it is a good apk.

  Jonathan Estill: Solid SSTV performance, needs menu button This is a good apk. It works flawlessly on my S3, but my fresh S7 Edge doesn't have a dedicated menu button and this apk doesn't have any another method to access the settings. If you have a dedicated menu button, buy with confidence.

  A Google User: Unbelievable Works well on my galaxy s2. Almost as easy as sending a picture over MMS. Just pick a picture from the gallery and send. Will be fun to use with an HT or when 6 meters opens up later this spring. UPDATE: doesn't work on Asus Transformer Infinity, won't load pix from gallery, doesn't ever keep.

  Keith Parker: Found the settings! Long pressed the menu soft button on my Note 4 smartphone and there they were. Maybe I missed this how to in the instructions. Didn't have to on my Nexus 7 smartphone, it had a menu button show. Now to learn to use the templates.

Works well on my Samsung Galaxu SII and is simple to use - but would be so much better if you should just shoot a picture and send it, rather than having to either shrink it in a third party apk or do a large crop. Hoping to use it /P on HF, and that would be so convenient.

  A Google User: Paid nearly a fiver Fine, as apks go this is the most expencive I've purchased, however I have most of this developers apks and so far not disapointed. I would like to see this work through Bluetooth, with an option to send via headphones or bluetooth both while using bluetooth to recieve. I have a bluetooth dongle I can use on my radio for recieve, but sending via bluetooth is harder so selectable input and output seperately is necessary.

  Alex Groat: Awesome items Good apk, can't wait to go portable with this! Next modernize, should you contain some of the 'robot' modes? (robot 36, 72 etc.) They are becoming increasingly famous, a lot of unmanned stations (satellites and so on) use them, and it woukd improve the already good apk no end! Thanks. Using a samsung galaxy tab (1) and still going!

  Daniel Jacobsen: ISS came in to my LOS and i heard a sstv signial i was unaware that they had a happening going on. Qith tiny time to spare i pulled out my smartphone and opend up DrodSSTV and nothing 😢 What whatever protocall they where useing thiss apk did not help 😢 so not satisfied right now
