The Distinctive Systems Driver Walk-around Check Apk is a companion apk for Distinctive Systems Coach Manager, Tour Booking System (TBS) and Car Maintenance System (VMS) users. The apk makes it easier than ever to ensure drivers are complying with their statutory duty to carry out a everyday walk-around check and report any defects found. The apk tutorials the driver through the complete process of performing their walk-around check. Versus each item to be checked, the driver has to either touch a green button to say it is OK or touch a red one to report a defect. When a defect is found the driver can select from a list of predefined common defects or enter a gratis kind description. Up to four supporting photographs can also be included for each defect. For operators running Coach Manager, the apk seamlessly integrates the functionality of the Online Driver Portal. It allows drivers to view a list of the bookings they have been allocated to. On choosing a booking, the driver can view its full info and then be guided step-by-step through each scene. When ready to begin the driver presses a button to confirm they are setting off, and then presses it once more at each pickup and on arrival at the destination. With each press the apk records the actual time and place and updates the display with the info for the next stage. Walk-around Checks: - Complies with all statutory walk-around check and defect recording requirements - Workshop automatically notified when fresh defects are reported and can view a copy of the check online - Coach Manager integration keeps traffic office appraised of outstanding defects - Tutorials the driver through the walk-around check procedure - Records the time taken to complete the check and its GPS place - Predefined common defects for each check item speeds up defect reporting - Gratis kind description and up to four photographs per defect - Defects can be flagged as completed in the back-office system - Work carried out can be recorded in the back-office system - Non-completed check reporting via Coach Manager car utilisation data - Nil defect, outstanding defect and completed defect reporting - Customisable check stuff and predefined common defects - View defects and checks made by another users Coach Manager Integration: - Drivers can view a list of the bookings they have been allocated to - Drivers can view the full work ticket info for each booking - Drivers are guided step-by-step through each scene of the booking - Seamless integration with Apple and Google Maps - Actual arrival and departure times are reported back to Coach Manager - Drivers are notified of upcoming bookings - Alerts are sent to the traffic office if a driver is late in setting off - Drivers can view logs and availability A current tool subscription or maintenance agreement is needed for one of our three main systems (Coach Manager, TBS or VMS) to use this apk. An installation of Coach Manager Online is needed for the Coach Manager integration.

Martin Rodgers: Needs more work. As a driver I report a defect but don't leave the yard until it is rectified or I am instructed to continue with the defect. I am unable to edit or add a note to a report, once submitted, to say that it has been repaired prior to use or instructed to use and by whom. This leaves me vulnerable to prosecution if there is a judgment call to be created on a defect (typical one is interior lamps. If one is out it must be reported as a defect, but the car is serviceable as the remaining 95% of the lamps are working). The employer may say it is serviceable , we'll replace lamp when you receive back - a roadside inspector may say that it is not serviceable.

stewart reid: Apk keeps crashing and theres no explanation offered, just continues with the error notice randomly on my smartphone causing disruption in whatever I am doing, seems the apk continues to run in the background as even when I have logged out apk still continues to run. no solution offered as yet. Be attentive what you install on your smartphone as theres no reason for this apk to be running in the background.

Eterne Media: Awful GUI, completely unintuitive. Crashes frequently and can't reopen partially completed reports when it does, so you've to begin from scratch once more. Waste of time.
