Richard Meyers: Wireless connection pass through working well I have used DSLR Controller for some time with my Samsung Galaxy Note using a USB cable & have been very satisfied with it's developing feature set. Works well with both 7D & 5Diii - manual focus is good for macro work. I just had a Samsung P-600 smartphone for Christmas & have successfully used the wireless connection pass through mode on the smartphone with the Hotspot tethering enabled. When starting DSLR Controller on the smartphone it scans & connects to the server on the smartphone; so that I can control the camera from another rooms. I look forward to using this in the field for wildlife. Thanks for an perfect piece of tool.

A Google User: Perfect Just bought canon eos600d and this works perfectly with that and my galaxy note and my asus transformer. Impressed by the manual focusing through the smartphone which allows me to be in the image and set creative focus without the need for an sssistant. I like gadgets and like showing interesting things that you can do with the phone. Very well done to the developers. Would suggest this apk to anyone with dslr

A Google User: GNex & 600d. Works! Loads of features & potential I managed to receive it working fine, not excellent but good for BETA. It opened my mind to a whole globe of possibilities, can't wait to see where this goes. I haven't seen this mentioned but it did create my smartphone run beautiful hot, but I guess it will be fine. Won't play back videos (I guess this is beautiful intense for the connection). Gear: 600d (no ML) / cheap eBay mini OTG cable+ USB extension cable / Galaxy Nexus with stock Jelly Bean. Looking forward to more video features in the future and maybe wireless begin / stop.

I tried it on my Galaxy S2 with my Canon 40d with 'limited help', but is it not less than the EOS Utility for OSX or Windows but far more convenient ! EDIT1: I got a Canon 7d now and it works even better due to the AF capability in LiveView of the 7d ! EDIT2: Finally photo download is implemented so it is possible to download images to the device.

This works as expected with my Canon T4i and ASUS Transformer TF101. It also worked with my old LG Optimus V phone via the Wi-Fi Passthrough. It has everything I need to control my camera while it is mounted on a crane jib. Good ... really good!
