  Brian D: Works well This tiny apk actually worked quite well.. I laid it on top of a k2 with all filters turned off. However through my headphones I was able to go very narrow to effectively filter out adjacent cw signals with the dsp apk. Good!

  A Google User: Not what I hoped, bust still useful All this is, is a tool based variable Bandpass/Notch filter which is good for filtering out QRM on the edges of the signal you're trying to hear, but does nothing for QRN. If it does I haven't heard a noticeable difference. Still this can slash out a lot of the noise which makes it useful for older radios that lack any type of filtering. Currently doesn't work correctly on my EVO Shift, but works good on my old G1. 4 stars if it starts working right on the Shift or adds QRN filtering. 5 for both.

  Denise Skidmore: Perfect at what it does, but what it does not do is stay running as a background service when my screen goes to sleep or when I switch to another apks. It's still a beautiful cheap investment for experimenting with sound filtering to see if purpose specific hardware would be right for your application.

  Kroum Mihaylov: Meh I used a headphones/mic splitter adaptor and a cable to plug my yaesu ft-817nd directly up to the smartphone in an attempt to use this apk for its intended purpose, I.e. ham radio, and at least on ssb, it does nothing to improve the signal to noise ratio. It does process the sound, and all functions of the tool seem to work with my Samsung galaxy s 2 skyrocket, but it simply does not create faint signals any clearer or easier to understand. Admittedly, I have not used it for CW.
