  Mark Tredway: Hey I can't receive it to work, I have a Samsung s8. I see it appear and click on it but it never connects. Got it to work, I used my computer to modernize it with the usb, now it works good! I guess from factory it wasn't quit ready, want the mechanic did this! They charged me $400 for the labor only, what a rip off! I supplied all the parts too!

  Dustin Baker: Works flawlessly, just modernize the WU111 first. Connect only Junction A, WU111, and battery. Begin the modernize to WU111 and it will automatically drop Bluetooth. Disconnect and reconnect battery, then reconnect via Bluetooth and finish the modernize. Reconnect everything else and modernize all your firmwares in 47 seconds. All is well in the globe.

  Jeff Carter: Works excellent on Samsung Galaxy S5 with Shimano XTR Di2 9051 Digital Display Unit. Not intuitive at first, so read the instructions carefully. Read them 10 times before trying. I followed the instructions and had no problems at all. Now that I know how it operates it is very simple to do. Thank you Shimano for making Di2 setup portable.

  Bambi Bomba: So far the application works flawlessly. I tried it on XTR Di2 components and it connected every time and performed the components firmware updates without a glitch. In the XTR Di2 system the M9051 display as well as the battery BT-DN110 is required to have a wireless capability. Perhaps the problems another players experience originate from the fact that various components in their systems have various firmware versions too distant from each another. I suggest trying to modernize the firmware of each component individually through the PC application, next install them on the bicycle as an entire system with corresponding firmware versions and only at this point test to establish the wireless connectivity. Awesome luck

  Steve Morey: It works ok for me. I had my local bicycle store install the transmitter on the bicycle. They updated the firmware with a wired connection to a desktop computer before we installed this apk. The bicycle mechanic told me it will brick your shifters if you allow your screen time out while it was updating from the apk. He said to create sure you hold touching the screen so it stays awake until done. So far no issues for me. I don't think I will have a constant need for this apk. Once you receive everything set the method you wish it there is not much need to hold changing things in the apk. I mostly wanted the D-Fly so I should connect to my bicycle computer.

  A Google user: I struggled to receive E-Tube to connect using a Moto G5 Plus Android device v7. Shimano's FAQ helped, saying "Place" must be enabled. Doing this fixed my connection trouble for both EWWU111 & FCR9100P. The Power meter firmware updated struggled but eventually worked, so all is well and the apk works.

  Cindi Anderson: I was scared after all the reviews, but it wasn't working at all with windows so I gave it a shot. I didn't install any firmware updates, and it was a bit fussy getting the pairing done, but I was able to accomplish what I required which was to restart the levels on the traiil and boost help. You have to pair first from the smartphone and then connect from the apk.

  Philip Edamura: Easier to set up than cables! Read reviews and if you don't think you can do it, go to your store for assist just like you would for everything else. Disconnect shifters and derailleurs (just a precaution) add your wireless unit. Connect the apk, follow instructions on screen, when it crashes disconnect the battery, reconnect everything else, then the battery latest. Connect the apk once more. All could be updating and working ok. Disconnect Bluetooth to receive your shifting working once more. Have fun riding in less than 5 minute! Not normal apk simple but not hard compared to almost anything else your mechanic does!

  Adam Gaskell: It's still has a few teething issues. Useful for updating firmware, create sure you have a quick internet connection and be ready to leave your smartphone by the bicycle for 20 mins to an hour the first time if you wish to modernize the motor firmware. Also awesome for changing the power settings, ie - Boost to High and Trail to Medium. First connection seems to always appear to fail, but then connect once more and it works straight away. The next time you wish to use it, you have to go into your bluetooth settings on the smartphone and "forget" the device and begin from scratch, remembering your previous pin code you had to change. If you don't, it normally won't connect.

  Dan Otter: Bricked di2 system after connecting and "updating"; disconnected battery and reconnected, di2 working once more. Apk said to modernize to recent ver of apk, weirdly, this isn't done through Play Shop, but through settings in apk and then choosing "Download all", tried connecting once more, connected, and then updated without problem. UPDATE APP THROUGH APP SETTINGS AND BY SRELECTING VERSION AND DOWNLOAD ALL BEFORE TRYING TO UPDATE UNIT VIA BLUETOOTH. If modernize fails, disconnect battery, then reconnect.

  sw1ney MTB: Not the easiest to connect at first, but once you use it a bit more it becomes easy. Only using it for E bicycle so can't comment on Di2,firmware updates and setting adjustment is beautiful straight forward but I would recommend unpairing from your smartphone once you've finished or it can sometimes take a long time for system to begin up.

  Scott Webb: As others have stated, this apk did temporarily slay my di 2. It had a firmware modernize over wireless connection and went through until 10% then crashed. Leaving it in diagnostic mode and unusable. A fast unplug of the battery for 10 seconds did reset the system though. I then updated the apk via 4g and no problems, zoomed to 100% and updated all the components. I now have working di 2 and a working apk. Unless you're comfortable resetting the di 2, be aware this should happen!

  SimoWill75: This apk appeared to brick my Di2, but I did eventually manage to finish the modernize and receive it working once more. Updating a wireless system, wirelessly, is not ideal. I don't understand why these Di2 wireless devices can't be updated via PC USB (BCR2 charger) when every another component can. The fix (for me, YMMV) was to slay the eTube apk, slay Bluetooth on smartphone, 'forget' device, re-pair BT and re-enter the PIN, then reset eTube apk. Shimano need to be more clear on the full proceedure for this.

  A Google user: Updated to 3 star, 3.3 ver now recognizes my 8050 DI2, about time. Will see how useful it is. Does not recognize all of my Integra di3 components so won't begin. When are you going to provide a 3.3 ver that supports these fresh etube components? You have it for iOS but not android device. The tool suppory could have preceded the hardware.

  Dave Andrews: Took ages to set up, usual FW modernize problems, but persevered (disconnect unit, connect to PC, reconnect unit) and it eventually worked. Good apk then, you can customise the shift point for Syncro shift despite what others say as I have done it. Could be easier to set up though.
