  Eldon Hadley: So far so awesome. Just place it in. Time will tell about the dependability, but we're satisfied so far with how it operates. Had a tiny trouble hooking up the hot water tube because the plastic heat trap wouldn't allow the fip fitting catch the threads. Finally got it connected. Modernize: after about 2 weeks the EcoNet stopped working....finally got it started back up once more and it stopped working after 2 days..don't buy this for the EcoNet or you will be very disappointed. Love the water heater!

  A Google user: Works good. 2 taps and I can see how a lot of kwh of electricity my water heater uses each month/week/day/hour. Also, the apk allows you to control your water heater mode settings. I can see this being very useful if you go on vacation and forgot to place it in vacation mode or to simply turn it off. For the most part, this WH is so efficient, I don't think I'll be worrying too much about the mode it's in when I go away for a few days. It texts you if there's a water leak alarm. I like the apk.

  A Google user: Works for me! I did place the WiFi component on the side of the water heater pointing toward my router. That method the metal water heater doesn't block the signal to and from the router. Maybe this will assist someone.
