About the application:

The EIB Farm Animal mini game is an interactive children’s educational apk which offers an exciting, easy, multi-sensory method for toddlers and young kids to recognise animals on a farm and learn their names and the sounds they make. Developed by an educational specialist, this apk is aimed at enhancing vocabulary and teaching kids to recognise, identify and mimic the sound of each animal. Join the Cavalier dog teacher as she takes you on a rhythmic, melodious adventure to visit the animals on the farm. The kid is introduced to the following animals: Sheep, cow, horse, rooster, dog, pig, cat, duck Interactive Play Interactive mini games ensure that playing remains challenging and fun. The kid will be asked by the Cavalier teacher dog to press on each animal to hear its name and the sound it makes when it talks. Once the kid presses on the animal it will talk to the kid and say, "My name is cat and I say “miaau". The kid must press on each and every animal on the farm. Animal sounds can be heard in the background, giving the kid a real-life farm experience. Multi-Sensory Approach Using a multi-sensory teaching technique means that a kid is exposed to a method of learning that engages more than one sense at a time. This has been proven to be the best and most successful method of learning! By involving the use of visual, auditory and kinaesthetic-tactile pathways, a multi-sensory approach will enhance memory and ability to learn. It stimulates the brain in a dozens of methods so that each sensory system becomes more developed and higher functioning. This improves essential functions of the brain, such as; listening-skills, movement, vision, tactile recognition and conceptualisation. The kid will PRESS on the animal, SEE the animal, HEAR its name as well as the sound it makes when it talks. Positive Reinforcement Once the kid completes the mini game by pressing on all the animals on the farm, the screen flashes with the word “CONGRATULATIONS”, alongside a positive reinforcement of floating balloons, joyful sounds, as well as a gold rosette. Positive reinforcement, when the kid performs the desired action, makes the kid associate the action with the reward and therefore motivates them to do it more often.
