East Los Angeles College Sheriff Department has worked to develop a special apk that provides students, faculty and staff with added security on the ELAC campus. ELAC SAFE features contain: - Emergency Contacts: Contact the correct services for the ELAC place in case of an emergency or a non-emergency concern - Panic Button / Mobile Bluelight: Send your place to ELAC safety in real-time in case of a crisis - Mate Walk: Send your place to a mate through email or SMS on your device. Once the mate accepts the Mate Walk request, the player picks their destination and their mate tracks their place in true time; they can hold an eye on them to create sure they create it safely to their destination. - Advice Reporting: Multiple methods to report a safety/security concern directly to ELAC safety. - Virtual WalkHome: Let Campus Safety to monitor a user’s walk.
