ETI-Eloquence Text To Speech (TTS) is an Android device ported ver of the famous Eloquence Text-To-Speech synthesizer. ETI-Eloquence is a TTS engine that you can use in a wide range of apks such as: - Screen readers and apks for blind people (like Talkback or Mobile Accessibility) - GPS tool - E-book readers (like Play Ebooks) - Translators (like Google Translate) - And a lot of more! *** IMPORTANT NOTE *** - Latest Google apks updates force using their own voices. Apks like Google Maps or Google Now, ignore text-to-speech settings, only allowing Google TTS. This decision from Google has been strongly discouraged by the Android device community but as for now, we cannot ensure compatibility for this apks. Mahesh S. Panicker: Getting better. Eloquence is the best TTS engine I have ever used and I am someone who experiment quite a bit with various options. There is nothing better when it comes to responsiveness and stability, and no another engine can keep a candle to Eloquence as far as quick reading is concerned. There is daylight between Eloquence and the next best in this regard. When Code Factory brought Eloquence to Android device, it retained these best characteristics and it has been my default TTS for some time now. CF were awesome in quickly responding to player feedback though there were a glitch or 2 that were unaddressed in the previous modernize, but with this fast fix that has come only few days after the latest modernize, the problem regarding incorrect reading of call duration that I had reported a couple of months back has been fixed. Rating the apk only 4 now, as I still feel Eloquence has to speak a bit louder. It still quieter in comparison to the Google TTS or eSpeak, and on phones with not so awesome volumes to begin with, this is still a large problem.

Steve Sawczyn: Love that this is accessible, want quality was betterquality were better. I am really glad that this apk is accessible, however, the speech quality is a bit lower than what I have become used to on Windows. Hopefully, with time, this will improve. Overall though, if you have fun using eloquence on Windows, you will have fun it on Android device as well.

Christopher-Mark Gilland: Very very close to perfection. I must say, I would never imagine using any another TTS engine than this one. And that's saying something considering that coat factory has left a awful taste in my mouth from the past. The only reason that I am giving this a lower rating is because I feel that eloquence is a tiny bit too compressed. It sounds like a four or five over one ratio. An extremely quick attack and almost no release. The threshold is awful. Weirdly, 16 K sounds even worse than the 11 case sample rate. You guys are so close!
