  Devin Flake: I've used lots of various go apks on android device and the others aren't awful but Elygo has been the best so far. iOS has Smart go but since its not going to be ported to android device I've been searching for a replacement and Elygo has filled the void. It has some good features like 500+ tsumego issues, joseki dictionary, and simple to download database of pro mini games. If you haven't tried Elygo your missing out :-)

  Brian Spragge: If you are a dedicated go user then you could pick this apk up. Play versus a computer, solve around 500 life and death issues OFFLINE, review more than 20,000 mini games OFFLINE, play versus anyone online, or play in person on the same device by opening a review mini game to play it out on, but create sure to save your mini game and review it later!!! 😄 Super clean interface to find around with ease. The only things missing are dates for the 20,000 Kifu,and one apk, not additional for AI. Overall $10 well spent!

Worth the price just for the neat tsumego element - you'd pay twice the price for a ebook with this a lot of issues. Yes, a few quibbles here and there, but it's being regularly updated. Developers like this could be supported. Don't hesitate to invest. You won't regret it!

  Jason Wright: Major bugs have been ironed out for me. Still some minor problems with loading mini game lists at times and connection problems are far far less frequent. Love it. Hope to see this apk develop and add some convenience features like sound/vibration when stone is played and go to begin of mini game button when observing. Also hope to see improvements to pro mini game database so you can browse without having to know user name or title ^^ Very strongly suggested for any go user

  Fabian Ulbricht: Very nice apk, clean interface, tsumego and offline review works good! I would want for tsumego updates more often, after all once you played 'em through you know 'em all. Also, it would be nice if you should import multiple tsumego issues with one sgf file as they are normally provided like this by the large tsumego databases. Otherwise good apk. Hold it up!

  Jean-Sébastien Lechasseur: This apk is currently the only competitor of Smartgo on android device. I use it with the go4go database (45506 latest pro mini games). It works, but it's far from being ideal. Among another things, I want we should sort mini games by dates, have thumbnails for each mini game, have the chance to automatically alternate colors in pattern find, and have a "guess the next move" option.

  Stephen Ford: I'm not sure that there's a better Go apk out there for Android device, and I have fun playing on it, but ElyGo does have problems: a rather weak AI (the dev had published a gratis beta of a Pachi implementation, but that was never added here and the beta no longer works with Android device 5.x), a lack of functionality around saved mini games (no cloud storage integration, problems with AI resumption and branching, lack of filtered find), shaky smartphone help (no in-game landscape orientation), and a tendency to end mini games without auto-saving them if you switch apks. Buying it gets you a polished (portrait-orientation) interface and a nice mini game library, but as it's been over a year since the latest modernize, I'm not optimistic that the aforementioned problems will be fixed...

  Noah: Overall this apk is top notch. The main trouble I have with it is that when you're recording a mini game it doesn't have any form of temporary auto-save or resume feature. This means that if you accidentally hit the back button, or wish to use some another feature of the apk and forget to save first, it will destroy your work in progress with no warning. Once this is fixed, my rating will definitely be a 5...

  Brian Crockford: Attractive interface and a solid apk. The tsumego set is quite nice as well. However, the apk makes it impossible for me to download SGF mini game records on my smartphone. It attempts to begin the file in-app and fails because it doesn't help network files.

  A Google user: An "Oh my god" moment! You cannot receive the ai to play from saved mini games!! Will only recognise current mini game. .(...please, can't be real. ...check. ..check once more.... Nope. Option does not exist). Also shame about only being able to play on 19 size board in igs online play mode... Only rated mini games too. Oh Well, some of us have better things to do ....and better territories to play go. Disappointed. By the method, it seems the people who made this apk don't care. No effort created to fix these humongous errors.
