  Jonathan Krall: I've wasted hours of my life playing this on my smartphone (Motorola Droid 4) and now you can too! It really is quite an addictive mini game. With random maps and lots of options you never play the same mini game twice. Well worth the price.

  Daron Ryan: Good Mini game! I have been playing since Empire - Wargame of the Century (Interstel), through Empire Deluxe (White Wolf), Empire Deluxe (Internet Edition (PC ver of this mini game with more users, head to head play, internet play, and ability to customize)), and now Empire Deluxe Mobile Edition. Mini game play is VERY related to Interned Edition, but only 1 human user. Awesome implementation for touch screen. I have found larger maps slow down a lot, but on my mobile device, I tend to hold the maps smaller so the mini games don't take weeks to finish. Good for those short breaks at work or when I have a few mins to slay - play a few turns of Empire! I much prefer the mini games where planning, tactic, and control are more valuable than speed and reaction time. Good work Tag! Thanks for extending this mini game into it's third decade of play and updating for the mobile platform!

  Tracy Treadway: Played the desktop ver since the early 90's. If it hangs during saving the mini game or at the begin of your turn, it may be maxing the capacity of your device. A 400x400 map would barely run on my smartphone and my phone was ok until I had about 100 troops on the board. A 50x50 map runs ok on both.

  A Google user: Absolutely one of the best mini games out there for your smartphone! The PC ver is a good mini game too with more troops, but the mobile ver is a VERY well done ver of the original PC mini game. The graphics are easy, surfice and functional, but the mini game has awesome depth and good command and control. The player interface is as awesome as it gets offering lots of commands in an efficient design that is simple to navigate (go into settings to receive all the commands offered). After you receive used to how the mini game is played I suggest little maps with a few AI users set to expert for more challenge. This mini game can be addicting and I highly suggest it for those who wish a awesome tactic mini game that plays good on a smartphone. Highly suggest this well thought out mini game and its unbelievable interface!

  David Kern: I used to play this mini game a lot years and years ago. It is very addictive. Glad to see it come out on Android device. My only complaint is that the Control Panel was a tiny difficult to customize. Besides that, very, very well done. But, beware, if you liked it before this will continue the addiction. Cash well spent.

  Jim Bushnell: For those who have played Empire you will like how it plays on a mobile device. It is very real to the Empire Deluxe that was accessible on the PC. For those who have never tried the mini game be warned it is very addictive. You can easily tell yourself "just other turn or two" and then look up later to see an hour has gone by. Does it have stunning graphics? No Does it create you think? Yes! Is the video test good? Yes! It is turn based but the AI is quick enough to approach a true time sort of feel. A truly GREAT mini game.
