  Graham Golding: Quick and simple to use The fresh release has solved the crashing trouble and this is now a gorgeous apk. Searching is intuitive and words within phrases are cross linked. Voices clear. This is much better than a paper dictionary, I was surprised by that.

  A Google User: The best English-French dictionary by far was Harrap's Unabridged French-English/English-French Dictionary. Since they quit the shop a few years ago this is now undisputedly the best accessible for Android device - and it's very awesome. The dictionary is reasonably comprehensive and better than others I've bought including SlovoEd / Collins and Larousse - just not up to Harrap's comprehensive and professional standards.

  carpediem sequimur: Best one for a serious learner of French Don't waste time on the others. There is no another apk as comprehensive as Larousse. Only for people who wish to know the nuances of the French language. Generally, I use only gratis apks, but this one has been the exception. For example, it uses the inter'l phonetics of French and it has a large amount of idiomatic expressions not found in any of the another mobile apks.

  A Google User: Good Replacement for My Franklin Larousse For years, I have carried the Franklin-Larousse French-English electronic dictionaries on my travels to France. Now I have the same dictionary with greater capability at lower cost on my smartphone. I no longer have to carry the separate dictionary. Moreover, this one has the French pronunciation. I love and am delighted with it.

  Iain Craze: The best English - French, French - English dictionary by far and good value for cash. Works offline but needs a connection to hear pronunciations. Loads of expressions, verb conjugations etc. Some tiny niggles here and there re ease of use but if you wish THE F/E dictionary, this is second to none. Buy it!

  Penny Chew: Worth every penny. Unbelievable. So simple to use. Love the verbs conjugations too. Using it while reading French novels: much easier than using a paper dictionary. Definitions you can believe and much more detailed too. Worth paying for. I don't use the pronunciation part but fun to click on sometimes.
